Legendary SkillsInfinite Perks

While I'm sure it won't be perfect, and it will probably be impractical for the 90% of us that don't level to 81, I think this is awesome. I hated that skyrim essentially stuck you with 3-5 skills to focus on from the beginning knowing you would be starved for perks. I also disliked the prospect of grinding irrelevant skills to gain additional perks.

It's a quick fix(and possibly immersion breaking for some of the sticklers out there) but its random and exciting. I personally see it it as a bit of an acknowledgment of the superior leveling system in Morrowind/Oblivion, where random and lofty combinations of skills were truly encouraged. 5 major+5 minor skills made for an impressive template in morrowind. I imagine few use it to it's potential, but it was half the fun of the older TES games. What do you guys think?

I'm looking forward to not having to grind Destruction, Alchemy and Restoration.

It makes more sense than learning how to hammer some iron in order to perfect my enchanting skills.

I'm looking forward to being able to an an effective all school mage with alchemy and enchanting, which was the basic template in the last two. Things make sense again! And speech/lockpick/pickpocket may see some love now.

No reason why you have to. You can reset and re-level eminently grindable skills like Alteration (Detect Life is your friend, so is Telekinesis). Illusion (Muffle/Inviz). Sneak (Sneak into wall in Aretino house, secure joystick, go out to lunch). Block (let a giant hit you), Heavy Armor (Let a giant hit you), Smithing (make gobs of dwarven, steel plate, and glass armor), Enchanting (Iron daggers and petty soul gems), and Restoration (find a bunch of Drager and pummel them with Repel Undead). Once you get the tough ones (Destruction, One-hand, Two-hand, Lockpick) up where you want 'em, just leave 'em.

I don't think I'd be partaking in this feature.

great point that it's great for roleplayers who choose not to train certain skills though.
It lets them get to lvl 81.
