Legendary Weapons

Post » Tue Apr 12, 2011 6:33 am

I only voted on two weapons, Skull Crusher because its awesomeness is unspeakable and Umbra, now I'm talking about the two handed giant Umbra that that scary samurai orc wield back in Morrowind and not that one handed toothpick from Oblivion.

Out of those I want Mehrunes Razor the most. I kept that blade on my at all times in Morrowind and Oblivion. I just love it <3

But I really want all of the above and more! Make artifact hunting fun again instead of just doing some daedric quests. I want to go tomb raiding and find some awesome unique helmet or something.

Grey Fox's cowl! The best item from the best storyline in TES IV.

I don't care if it's not a weapon, its still a cool artefact.

King Orgnum's Coffer, which isn't even a weapon, but I want its return.

Please why do so few people like the Ice Blade of the Monarch, it seriously needs returned. Although I bet many legendary weapons will return (with many exceptions to some expansion pack specials) so I am hoping to have to go exploring special ruins like in Morrowind to get them. Although I liked how each Daedric god gave you a special item, but I liked Morrowind's way better. Has any one every questioned how Pyrite the lowest Daedric princes got the Spellbreaker, which is a Dwemer sheild?

Well, Peryite isn't really the lowest Daedric Lord, just in charge of the lower rungs (Think Dante's Inferno). He is the Task Master and in charge of order. Spellbreaker is said to always be looking for its original owner. Something a Task Master could make his prerogative. Then again all legendary items "Abandon their owners eventually".

Wabbajack. Wabbajack. Wabbajack.

Wabbajack. Wabbajack. Wabbajack.

Maybe the Wabbajack is the Book of Knowledge. Maybe I'm smarter because I know cats can be bats can be rats can be hats can be gnats can be thats can be thises. And that doors can be boars can be snores can be floors can be roars can be spores can be yours can be mine. I must be smart, for the interconnective system is very clear to me. Then why, or wherefore do people keep calling me mad?

Wabbajack. Wabbajack. Wabbajack.

What is an Elder Scrolls game without Umbra?
Okay, slight exaggeration, but still. Umbra has to be in there somewhere.

I also like Volendrung, mostly because of the name. It sounds very Norse/Germanic. And of course there is the fact that it is Dwemer, which instantly makes everything awesome.

Dawnfang/Duskfang - Because its one of the most Badass One-Handed Swords of all time.

Volendrung - Not because its any particulary "good", I just want it back cuz it looks awesome!

Staff of Sheogorath - i just like, simple as that ;)

Ruin's Edge - What is it not to love?

umbra has to be in this game along with umbra the person

That's highly unlikely because most people killed Umbra, and Skyrim is set 200 years after the events of oblivion.

Umbra the person is the person possessed by the sword, or something like that.

Mehrunes Razor all the way, it would be class for an assassin character.

Umbra the eternal sword, carved from the blackest depths of the soul. It feeds as we feed, and it lives, undying, within frozen, subterranean tombs. Beneath claw and blade. Beneath ice and fire. Umbra will return.

Yup ^^ Umbra is the ultimate sword. Deadly to both its user and its enemies. It has to be in Skyrim.

Umbra the person was in morrowind and Oblivion I believe that it is the name of the person possessed by the sword. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Umbra_(person)

my favourites were the daedric crescent blade and the fang of haynektnamet, awesome weapons. In morrowind almost all of my chars had one of those two.

the important thing for me is that the legendary weapons look unique, not simply a recoloured version of another weapon, or an ordinary weapon with extra stats, the most important thing is that they look legendary (partly why the crescent is so awesome, it's unlike anything else in the game).
