The first playthrough I did was independent. Doesn't the Courier basically hand control to the people of the Mojave?

What the NCR are doing is very difficult and very rapid, rebuilding humanity out of nowhere will lead to rebels and revolutionist's like Samuel Cook, again why do you think most people are in the NCRCF? Also the fact that they try to pressure enemy's into helping the NCR shows weakness (the ranger rep encounter)

Better training? Lolwhut? Aside from Rangers and first recon, most NCR soldiers are pathetically trained and poorly disciplined.

And the NCR beat the Brotherhood who had better tech, weapons and training, simply because they outnumbered the Brotherhood 10-1. The Legion outnumbers the NCR, and they have better training to boot.

Well with the Leigon, your forced to join the army (or be a slave, your choice), instead of persuasion you'll march in and burn down the innocent life-long indepe dents, and enslave everyone else. What Ceasar is doing is just as rapid! You dont get a choice with the Leigon, you either join or you and your family get mauled! That's not what the Mojave needs!

sixist? I'm pretty sure there are a few woman legionaries. If I'm wrong then I'm sorry, I don't reconize every legion soldier. Innocent people? No. People that get in their way? Yes. NCR trying to help residents of the Mojave? Yes. Succeding in it? Absolutely not. The Legion being "really lame" is not a good reason not to like them.

Women are used for breeding stock and slaves but apparently in van buren there was an all female gang the legion was fighting do it made more sense in van buren for them to keep women down.

I'm not saying the Legion is my way to go, I'm only saying they're not pure evil like some people (you) think. If you think about it, they're not evil at all. They just want to be in control of Vegas and they'll do whatever it takes to do it. Like killing people who get in their way. Much like the Enclave and you would know since you have an Enclave flag as an avatar. Now who likes the type of person who does this? No one. But the NCR, on the other hand want control too but TRY (notice the capitalization on try) to be peacful instead end up getting mad because they don't have their way and kill everyone who trys to stop them. I'm with the NCR all the way and I'm a proud NCR Ranger but all I'm saying is the NCR has some flaws and so does the Legion but they're both fairly good choices.

Roman Wannabe's means that most of their soldiers are trained not to think for themselves in the battlefield. Sooner or later that will change. As far as the Legion....I really don't see how it would qualify as fascist. The CL is more inclusive of different people than fascists would be. The CL uses the trappings of Rome to create a wholly new culture that all who are subject to it's rule are required to adopt...but in which no group/race/tribe has an advantage over the others. Fascists would never dilute thier ethnic and cultural identity in such a manner.



I've seen a fair number of non whites as Legionaries....Karl, Severus, Dead Sea, and Canyon-Runner aren't white. One thing I've noticed though....aside from the Weathers, female Legion slaves seen ingame are either mestizo/full blooded Indian (all of the slave women at the Fort) or asian (crucified at Cottonwood cove) women.

If i had to pick, i'd go with the NCR. Legionaries are bastards

My game is bugged. There are non white legionares. My mistake on the racist accusation. A friend just showed me in his game Severus and Dead Sea. I can't say about Severus, but definately Dead Sea in my game was white (as was Canyon Runner). I'll have to run my cannibal to Cottonwood cove and have a look around. The Legion are not racist toward humans, sixist yes, racist (human) no. However, I still don't like the Legion. Apologies to any I offended. I was not trying to offend anyone, I was honestly concerned.
