They are trying to do the right thing, NCR is doing whatever it does for the wrong reasons.

Plus, they don't massacre children.

ok for starters WTF legion slaves people crusifies them and murders tons of innocent civilions(nipton not to mention) also the NCR does not do everything for the wrong reasons have you seen the legion ending in New vegas its [censored] terrible the ncrs is way better and way less people die because of it

All you legion guys and dolls take NCR's side.

They crucify those that don't obey, are corrupt. Nipton was an example, it was a hub of crime.
I don't judge them for the endings of the Mojave, for the entire US the Legion would be better suited, the NCR would just cause a SECOND great war.
The NCR are corrupt, evil and just plain dumb with tactics.

The only reason they want the Mojave is to expand, anyone they don't want dies.

The Legion wants the Mojave for them to have a Rome, to spread civilization.

EDIT: That's not dumb, that sounds intresting.

Less people die in the NCR, yes. But at least the Legion is honest when it kills civilians, unlike the NCR who's taxes and laws cause people to starve to death everyday; not to mention all the people they kill by seizing land.

And also Nipton was hardly innocent, since a large amount of their population was Powder Gangers.

Last time I checked, America was wiped out by Nuclear Fire.

And the NCR Citizens really don't have a say in who's elected. It's the Brahmin Barons and Large Land Owners that do.

The regular citizens are to busy starving to death.

The Legion enforces the law, give you a future thats safer and has no raiders, they have currency and arn't corrupt.

The NCR just lets you starve, you have to be taxed out of all of your money and you'd be worthless to the higher ups after they take all of your money.

The reason the Legion is using the Roman's as a basis is so they are an 'alien' culture, they are different and foreign.

No, the Legion citizens live normal lives, Cottonwood Cove and the Fort arn't cities, they are 'Forts', New Canaan is a Legion city and has civilized people.

Oh yea.

Because the Legion totally doesn't use guns at all. /sarcasm.

And yes, they are actuall quite happy. In fact, they're incredibly loyal to Caesar; they'd gladly lay down their lives for the good of the Legion. Something the NCR 'soldiers' lack.

I would've choose the people that can actually fight and defend, those people being the Legion.
The Legion has a decent supply of weapons and guns, while the NCR is stuck with a tiny reserve of decent weapons such as the AMR, and an unbelievable amount of crap guns.

I've lived in a city where what would be police used sabres and batons over guns, and they did pretty well.

The Legion would be happy, they arn't forced to do things in the cities, they arn't slaves and they arn't abused.

Superior Tactics, Training and Expierence> A couple of Farmers carrying around broken Assault Rifles and Shotguns.

Can't do that though, I can't see any good coming out of NCR at all in the long run.
They will fall, even if they win at Hoover Dam, when that is I do no know but they will fall, and when they do, it'll be hard.
And everyone will go back to square one with raiders and survivalism again.
I can't support NCR and can't fool myself to justify them either.

At hoover dam almost all of the elite troops are equiped with AMR's.

No, I lived in the middle east for 20 years.

The law enforcers always punished those that tried to break the law, sometimes severely.
You see, an idiot with a gun verus a milita using swords and batons is usually going to lose.
Also, just because you are ignorant of the fact that guns arn't magical things that make anything fall dead doesn't mean people don't know how to defend themselves against them with swords.
