Hello everyone, I woke up this morning with a wonderful idea in my head. The Legion lost the battle of Hoover Dam and Caesar himself died of his brain tumor. With the Legate being dead too, Caesar had no heir to his upstart empire. So the Legion splits up into factions led by so called "Descendants of Caesar" and they have a massive civil war in Arizona. The NCR decides that instead of losing more soldiers fighting the Legion, they would allow the Legion to destroy itself.

We would be one of the factions vying for power of the Legion, however our ideals may not be the most popular out of all the factions. (Will make two or three other factions to fight us.) We are reformers, we see that if the Legion is to survive it must become something more than an army of nomads. We found old books of ancient Rome and saw that Caesar was a liar who did not get his ideals from the gods but instead simply read them in a book and changed what he saw fit. We want to build a new city and capital for the Legion and change it into the New Roman Empire. Our new city, or New Rome, would be the center of our new civilization and we would then expand our empire in all directions.

Of course if enough people are interested in this rough idea I will post a signup thread and make the story more complex. I could also use a CO-GM if anyone is interested in that. Whoever wants to be my CO-GM will help me with the story obviously and will be the second in command of our faction. We will decide who the other factions are and their ideals as well.

Like I said, I think this is a good, if a little rough at the moment, idea and would love to see this RP happen.
