Legion at wolfhorn ranch

Post » Sun Aug 22, 2010 1:35 am

Could this mean that Ulysses could have ties with the legion, because I get attacked there everytime I visit it, or could this be due to the neighbouring legion raid camp? The legion seem to camp out at wolfhorn ranch.

I've never encountered the Legion at the ranch, only near it. They patrol by that caravan with the scripted attack, and toward their own camp.

And it is assumed that Ulysses was involved with the Legion. I think someone said he was going to be the only pro-Legion companion.

It's assumed Ulysses is connected with the Legion, because from the Collectors Edition of the game there was the playing cards, and each suit kind of being it's own faction. Ulysses and Legion/ Legion associates are in the same suit. Plus at the ranch, there is a chair on top of the hill with a grave next to it facing Nipton (and I think there is binoculars there too, like he was spying on the place).

Yep. Also reflected in the Van Buren documents(Their not going by every basis from Van Buren. But since the idea or character is there already their using it. Another being the Ciphers who officially became presumbly canon after Dead Money. Of coarse Bethesda could just decide to make it all not countor Obsidian themselves. I doubt they will though.)

In the German, French and Italian version of Fallout: New Vegas, the Wolfhorn Ranch is called "Ulysses' Lager", "Camp d'Ulysses" or "Accampamento di Ulysses". All three designations translate to "Ulysses' Camp".

If Ulysses is legion, I wonder why he seems so tied with the old world flag?

To get to Novac I followed the Legion from Nipton. Apparently the Legion and Scorpion have an alliance or peace treaty because I was the only one being attacked by the scorpions, and I eneded up following the Legion up to the Ranch, but then dipped on em to go north, they were heading west/northwest.

from Nipton they go to the Legion Raid camp afaik. Wolfhorn is between the Legion Raid Camp and the Legion Safehouse. Still doesn't make Ulysses Legion though. Not yet... ;)

Bit wierd that they put a campfire and a radio next to the grave though... someone is slightly obsessed by something..

I ve followed them from nipton too, they run straight into Sgt. Asher and him men at Searchlight and get slapped. Even with me helping them.

They hang around the area the op is speaking of. They fight Vipers around there, which may lead them to wolfhorn.

Ulysses was the one that was originally going to deliver the chip so its possible the legion knew about this and did something to him causing him to disappear

true...but nash at primm tells the courier that ulysses turned down the delivery job once he saw the couriers name next on the list...nash thought it meant that ulysses knew ahead of time what exactly was going to happen...that ulysses was holding some sort of grudge against the courier
