I too shed a tear or two so you are not alone.

(I've been wondering this for days, but why do we care about people we never met? I cried when I saw the story of http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/elijah-marsh-3-year-old-boy-who-went-missing-mourned-in-toronto-1.2962989 along with other tragedies as of late. :( )

I've been watching ST since I was old enough to be sat upright in front of a tv -I'd watch it with my dad, sitting on his lap, which are some of the best childhood memories I have of my father.

Spock taught me a lot of things that I still carry with me every day.

I feel like I just lost a dear friend.

rip mr. Nimroy.

Although I never met Lenard Nimoy I've always known him through Star Trek ever since I was a kid, heck I'm still in disbelief at the death of Robin Williams.

He is a part of us, in one way or anther. For me, it was what, 35 or so years of watching Star Trek. Seeing him and the gang it's like a part of the family. Same for Robin Williams, he will always be Mork for me. For Mr Nemoy he will always be Spock to me a beloved character.

Now I feel like playing Civ IV to hear him read the lines when you discover a new tech.

RIP Mr. Nimoy

You were not just Spock, instead a talented actor and director and I am sure a stand up guy. You will be missed.

Been watching Star Trek since the early 70s. I feel like I lost an old friend. I never met him, but he was a big part of my life.

"Don't grieve. Tis logical. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few...or the one. I have been and always shall be your friend. Live long and prosper."

Yep, another geek crying here too.

Goodbye. Mr. Leonard Nimoy. May you rest in peace. You have taken us on incredible journeys to far away planets, and have given us much to contemplate over the years. Your contribution to not only the Film industry but the arts as well will never be forgotten.

For some of us, Spock, and Star Trek were among the first steps down a path (sci-fi, fantasy books and any shows or movies we could find) that led to gaming., game design...
