Got them both going. Though my magicka seems to have gone through the roof. I'm running an Altmer at level 12 with an INT of 88, and a WILL of 69. Magicka's 3199. I wouldn't assume that's what I should get from LAME followed by SM, so I can only figure things got wonky after I removed Mighty Magick. Suggestions for fixing this, besides cutting my character's magicka in the console?

I'm not so sure about that. LAME sets the IgnoreFriendlyHits flag (causing them to accept more hits than "all creatures and npcs in game"), and as far as I recall SM doesn't. Unless it was added recently :blink:.

Either start a new character, use Cobl Races Balanced or RBP (both come with update scripts that should remove this weirdness), or fiddle with the console to do what an uninstall script should have done.

Which means mostly (because otherwise you run pretty quickly into the same issue) removing the Fortify Magicka Multiplayer.

Well...that's not too good. I guess my character will have to be very, very careful around my summoned creatures. Thanks for the update.

Appreciate that. I'll switch over. By the way, the spell effects are much improved, now. You do a fine job on that, and I'm looking forward to checking out much more of LAME.

Yes SM does and has done for a while. I can't remember off the top of my head what version it was introduced but sometime in the 0.80 series.

Summoned up a flame atronach, and punched it. Judging by the noise it made, it wasn't pleased, but it didn't do anything then or after I punched it a second time.

I apologize in advance for anybody who feels taken aback by my character's inhumanity, but at least we now know summons in Supreme Magicka aren't a one-hit ticket to a battle.

Unfortunately, after getting COBL Races Balanced setup and working probably, I decided to check out BOSS for the first time in a long time. It did have a few constructive points to make, but messed up my character's magicka again. The StartQuest fix in COBL's notes didn't solve anything--well, it changed a 5000 magicka to roughly 2500, but that's all, and it's still about 7 times too high--so I'll see if your RBP does help. Though I suspect as COBL's version is based on yours, there won't be a difference.

If I simply used the console to adjust the magicka down, would it start progressing normally after that with leveling using either COBL Races Balanced or RBP? EDIT: It doesn't appear so. SetAV comes up with some bizarre values with changing, none of them anywhere lower than 1300 or so (and a few as high as 44000), while Modpcs does nothing.

Hoping for other suggestions, besides the obvious one I can think of: start up a new character.

I just had the same problem as you: BOSS moved LAME after SM. I handled it by opening OBMM, and moving LAME's main ESP back one slot at a time.

Hm. Seems like MM (MMR?) messes even more with the character than I had remembered. If it's like MMR, you could try to setav the MagickaMultiplier to 10 and see what would happen.

I'm sorry for unable to offer more help, but this kind of stuff should be done as update / uninstall routine in the mod in question. However as I approached Damar back then with that, and a way to make custom races playable, the result were less nice.

I want to play this mod but I dislike how all my spells get renamed. I know that the spells are renamed for order purposes but it simply looks really messy for me. Is there a way I can disable this option?

Under the "04Modules(not recommended)" there is a file that can fix that issue. I don't use it, I like the sorting.

There's an option in the Bashed Patch creation, on one of the 'Import' options, to change the spell names. You can use this to remove or add prefixes on the spell names, according to your tastes.

I'm trying to run lame and supreme magiccka together, with lame loading first . Why won't boss allow it and is there away to have boss allow lame to load first and then supreme magicak? Or I should chose one or the other to go along with midas spells I use?

I would read the note for Rusty Order, but the message doesn't come and the notes value stays the same, any feedback?

Question - where can I buy an 'Open hard lock' spell? Reached 50 in alteration, and because I can open average at 25 and v.hard at 75 I'm guessing I can open hard at 50 but I can't find it anywhere.

BOSS simply follows what it knows best. That doesn't mean it's the best for you. I'd suggest just moving the LAME graphical effects and conjuration mod (the latter if you want to keep LAME summons) after SM. It works fine, and causes no problems.

You can't but look up on the nexus I found one there and use it
