less food mod

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 1:50 am

Like the title implies is there a mod of this description? and if theres not, could someone put me on the right path to do it myself with the CS

as it is at this time there is really no reason to have a needs mod with all the food around, eating enough is never a problem

my skill with the CS is minimal, but if someone would just give me an idea of what to change I think I shall have a go at it if its not too uber difficult

thanks for any replies or help :goodjob:

A Quick search actually did not find anything..

You Should only need need to edit these list and adjust the Chance of None on each one to be like 50% or 75% that would reduce food items that you find in chest..

LLOFoodLower, Middle, UpperClass, leveledlist quite a few of them,

LL0Ingredients0Food100 and 50 List

Those placed in world you would have manually remove..

Already done if you want the http://www.4shared.com/file/k7nWEmt_/Less_Food.html

Thanks for this corepc. You should release this as a standalone mod, and this should be included in the various hunger mods as an optional plugin.

Really it was not my idea

One of those quick 30 second mod for me to do..Only a few leveledlist once again that contain food items, I may have missed some, like the SI list for example..

Somebody can release it has a standalone mod and up date has needed..

Bash is needed for compatiblity with other mods for sure..

Just load it real late in load order so that it take effects and looks fine in bash loaded after Cobl stuff.

Yep load it late after all other food mod so that my % take effect on leveledlist once again..And it does not need tag, just make sure to merge it for take effect with Cobl in particular..

stupid question I know but do I still need to remove those placed in world? or did you already get those too

and if not I will go through and see what I can do with it, and load it up on the nexus for everybody, with your permission of course, and credit

glad to have this

Food Items are still placed in the world.

And It would be a bad idea really to remove the food items placed in the world, has that would be tons of work,

even if you delete the items in cs editor, then used tes4edit to undo the changes to leave only the worldspace and cell changes that would be once nasty hack once again..Plus the compatiblity problems has well with other mods like UL mods etc..

Plus their is the fact that some npc may need those food items to surive has well..Or are needed for quest etc..

So removing food items from cell and worldspace is a bad idea once again..

What I posted above is the cleanest way of removing food items overall..

O.k. will leave that alone then, and load it up on the nexus after testing it a bit, unless you, or someone else would like to do so?

really does not matter to me, would just like everyone else to be able to use it if possible

thank you again for this, really top notch of you :foodndrink:

I agree that there's good need for a mod like this if one want to use an eating realism mod.

May I also point in the direction of my http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25078 mod. It doesn't remove food from the game, but it has one option (default on) to make it illegal to harvest the crops from around the farms, and also illegal to loot containers in cities and around farms. And unless you're prepared to steal everything anyway, the effect is that there is much less food to get.

http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5065 is a nice way to have less edible food.

That would fit in nicely with COBL. But now they'll have to add moldy versions of all the Daggerfall and Morrowind ingredients
