"36 lessons of vivec read aloud"

I liked your voice, MD, but you don't have to do all of 'em, it might be cool to get different people to have a go!

I really do sound like a lisping 5 year old when recorded, however, so I might give it a miss...

I think your voice lacked range, like the person you were talking to was in your face. You were holding back better. Also, were you standing up?

Meh, it was a quick and dirty thing. I didn't warm up and was trying not to speak too loudly. I did end up having to amplify the thing... I'll try a for srs later today.

I'd offer to give it a shot, but (A) I don't have a working microphone and (2) I have a probably-distracting southern American accent. I'm in no mood to make Vivec sound like he/she's from the Kaintuck hills instead. <_<

Nope. Well, some of it was bs, but nope it is a bachelor's of science. Which is funny because all of my sciencey friends all got BAs.
Your university is weird. Theater should be a BA, as it's a form of the arts, not a scientific discipline.

For your listening pleasure, http://s153.photobucket.com/albums/s221/silverhawk100/?action=view¤t=Sermon28Full.mp4. A more serious and careful approach. I tried to blend a storytelling style with preachy declamation. 28 didn't really need any "Mystery of Vivec" in the voice. Hope you enjoy. If I do continue forward, I probably should ask either Beth or MK if I can put this onto youtube or something.

The degree refers to the degree of rigor. The amount of hours and requirements were more and the degree represents that (a scienced study being more thorough than an art-ed study). Yes it's confusing. I blame a mixture of the Greeks and the French.

I use Audacity, which is pretty powerful, yet easy-to-use (and free).

Spent an hour making these three. Enjoy.

Sorry for the blips of distortion in the first video.

Yeah, RL is about to make me really busy. You'll probably beat me to it.

Tip though: don't put the mic right in front of your mouth. Point it at your throat or keep it away from your body and use your voice to fill the room
