Just watched https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underworld_%28film_series%29 (again). Their lore for Vampires and Lycans intrigues me. I kept thinking this could make an excellent video game, single player or maybe multiplayer, though not really massively multiplayer (MMO).

I also thought about making a Werewolf movie spoof, as I kept smiling to myself throughout the movie. Consider the following:

1) A full moon happens on a cloudy night. The clouds part and the werewolf changes form. But it's cloudy. So eventually the clouds cover the moon again. Oops! Back to human. Then the clouds part again. *POOF* Werewolf again. Even during fights, the moon gets obscured and the poor werewolf is bouncing back and forth

2) The Change. Why do people wait for a werewolf to fully change? I know... Special Effects people work hard on the transformation sequence. But I would be shooting the snot out of some human transforming into something different. More powerful. Yea, I'll wait for that!

Anyway, back to the lore. The "legend" speaks of a specific human (Alex Corvinus) that was able to be both Vampire and Lycan. One son became the first Vampire while the other became the first Lycan. You start the game as a descendant of his. You can choose which side to help/join, or go on your own and become both, trying to unite the 2 factions.

Anyway, any thoughts? Could this be fun?

i see i'm not the only one who watched sci-fi channel today lol. And transformation as a free action is pretty common in alot of media, must be really cool to watch or something haha

I love going down the route of a Vampire Hunter whom is a werewolf as well myself. Tis fun. Actually, I kinda have a werewolf Paladin right now in Skyrim (Yes, I know. Crazy idea/combination but it's fun).

Well, literally speaking, a Paladin is just a "Holy Warrior." You're just a warrior for HIrcine

Yeah you always miss the bit where the other guy pulls out the banana lounge lays down with a drink and a book, waits till they change, then jump into action, i remember American werewolf in London i think i would have finished War and peace by the time all the limbs deformed to turn into a wolf, or while its vulnerable just blow massive chunks out of it, or if it was a Twilight version, just set up a full size mirror, while its admiring itself, just start dismembering it.

Not necessary. My Paladin is a Holy Warrior for the People, so to say. He fights for what is right and help those who needs it... Not for Hircine.

Yeah, but your character's soul belongs to Hircine. When your character dies, they will go to the Hunting Grounds. I myself prefer the Hunting Grounds than Sovngarde.
