According to this... every single cupboard, dresser, wardrobe, strongbox and end table In Skyrim are 100% safe?

If so thats the best news ever, that means I can pretty much live anywhere as long as they have any of those containers.

Before I installed house mods, new characters used to put stuff in one of the barrels by Adrianne's smithing shop, until one lost a load of stuff. Now I just leave an axe there, for cutting wood to make arrows.

From your link: "Safe locations are places that never respawn." I would consider anywhere else unsafe, like that barrel. I was new to the game when I lost stuff. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Yes, Furniture is safe to store things in. Just note, some furniture you store things in will transfer ownership so it will be considered stolen if you take it back. But, it will not respawn.

Actually, I would put a test item in something you want to use as storage. No place is really safe, unless you own it. The houses you can buy and the houses you can build.

If UESP says its safe I trust it will be. Time for me to move into Drelas's cottage.

That is fine. I would still put test items in the containers first, for I would hate to see you loose some decent gear. The choice is yours, so have fun.

The thread says,

Containers may be safe for one of two reasons. Some container types are set to be non-respawning — containers of that type will never respawn, no matter where the container is found. Other containers are safe because of their location — some locations, in particular the player's http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Houses, are identified as non-respawning locations. All containers in these safe locations (even common Barrels and Sacks) can safely be used for storage.

May be safe, not are safe, but may be safe. Only if they are non-respawning.

And yes, UESP is the place to go for info. Just trying to help.

There is one non-respawning cupboard and one large sack that is non-respawning that you can use for storage. Plus entering the house is considered trespassing, and anything you take is considered stolen.
