Let's make the better, better

Hello.

One day ago I installed Morrowind Overhaul (graphic & sound + music) and was totallly stocked about the result. Realistic water, organic regions
and high-def clothing but something was amiss to me. More Monsters. Even though I like Morrowind vanilla. I believe Vvardenfell is alive. Ever changing for
a better game-play experience. And to me more monsters is one of those experiences. So I'm trying to make a list of the best creature mods available.
Like.. Antares' wonderful Creatures (trolls, frost giants, treants, mehrunes dagons and more), Giants Ultimate by The Puma Man, stillhere's FIENDS and True Unleveled Creatures by Marbred. Talking about of of them, for once Giants, I heard there's an update for the textures of this mod. I'm right or wrong here.

Oh. Also. Has http://www.yacoby.net/es/forum/12/7949801199737440.html vaporized from the face of Internet?

Did you try PES? http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1810

As to the rest of your post... ummm, what exactly is the question? :P

Well, if you're looking for a list of GOOD creature mods, I wouldn't include giants but there are quite a few around.

Creatures X
Midgetalien's Creatures
Demon Xen's creatures
Melchior Dahrk's Creatures
Anteres' Creatures
Nicholiathan's (spelling) unique creatures

And a few others.

Pluto: Higher textures for Giants Ultimate.

Also, I intend to make this thread into a FAQ for beginners. As myself. Yeah, I've been away to long..
Here will users be able to ask and hopefully receive a satisfying answer.

Like..
*Is two valuable features as NOM v3.0 and Wilderness compatible with each other now
*Is Wilderness a pre-mod to Giants?
*Which is your top-5 desert mods to alter Morrowind?

Edit: Ah. And there is the answer I was looking for, thank you Melchior D.

Creatures X is the one with the texture update, not GIANTS. :)

Gotcha!

Do you know where I can find Connary's Bestiary texture pack?

Wilderness is a stand-alone mod. It doesn't require Giants (though the two fit together very well). Wilderness adds mostly non-hostile creatures to the game. It's a wonderful mod, in my opinion - but it can be demanding on lower-end computers.

If I had to pick just five mods (nearly impossible) I would pick these:

1) http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6173 by Westly. A new face and hair for my character is essential for me. I can play Morrowind without a lot of mods but I need a new face and hair for my own character. For this I usually use Westly's head pack (though in my current game I'm using http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6665 instead).

2) http://lovkullen.net/Emma/kids.htm by Emma. This is my all-time favorite Morrowind mod. If I am going to use any mod in addition to a head/hair mod for my character it will be this mod. To me, Vvardenfell just seems depressingly empty and lifeless without children. Without the sight of girls skipping and boys getting into fights the world is just too unrelentingly grim for my taste.

3) http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4699 by Fandorn Delavie and the Wiwiland team. This is kind of a 'prequel' to Emma's mod. ;) In my opinion both Morrowind and Oblivion are distressingly anti-social games. There's little opportunity for the player character to show affection. The player character mostly kills things. This is a serious limitation of Elder Scrolls games in my opinion. The Romance mod helps make Morrowind a little less one-dimensional in this area.

4) http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1695 by Hoghead the Horrible. I feel another limitation of Morrowind is the lack of non-hostile creatures in the game. I find it a little wearisome to have to fight practically everything I encounter everywhere in the game. Hoghead's mod adds some much-needed life to the game world that does not psychotically attack the player on sight. It's a good alternative to the Wilderness Mod for lower-end computers.

5) http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2786 by Abot. Does the same thing as Hogshead mod, except above ground.

I'm not sure whether this thread is still creature orientated or not but Abot's Water Life hasn't been mentioned yet which adds many creatures below to the underwater wilderness.
