Little Late but anyway:

Name: Dmitri Davenport

Age: 20

Skills: Speech, Small Guns, Science/Lockpick, and little bit of everything else

Karma: Good

Favorite drink/food: Nuka Cola

Favorite weapons: Lincoln's repeater, Gatling Laser, Plasma Rifle

Favorite Clothing: Tenpenny's suite, lucky shades, Gentelmen's demeanor (button's wig )

About: Dmitri, a vault dweller, who after the death of his father, is now seeking power in the capital wasteland. He is not a quiet person, but not loud, he uses guns but he can use dialoge...only when its in his own good. Yet, with this thirst for power and recognition in the Wastes, he is somewhat good and will do whatever he can to save wastelanders, BOS and outcasts.
He is conservative and very polite, loves GNR's songs, and elegance. He detests raiders the most. You will never see him without Fawkes, who is his second in command, and with him he calls himself "the most powerfull man in the entire Capital wasteland...and now Point Lookout." You will usually see him wander across DC executing evil characters, and friendly idiots who dared to insult his name.

Now my Question:

To the fishy wanderer:

Since your character want to detroy what's left of humanity, is your character human? or perhaps a ghoul?

oooh guys guys guys, please let my character in! pawease!?!?!

Well, im going to give his bio anyways right now.

Ryan Sammuels

Ryan is a good ol' southern boy from oklahoma. His family made the trek from oklahoma to the D.C. ruins after their vault was opened. Ryan studied medicine in the vault, but he really became enthralled with it once reaching the D.C. ruins. He carries a badly damaged hunting rifle, and a long knife, tucked in the right side of his pants. His left ring finger is gone. His parents are dead. He is 18 years of age, and talks with an accent. Ryan has also found a liking to mentats...

Okay, i really kept it down to the bare minimum here guys.

now, for Burkley's question...

how did his father die?

Aaaaaugh wait up, guys! I want in, too! I love rambling about my characters!

Kane is of Asian descent (his mother was Japanese) and is nearing the ripe old age of.. 21 :P He's very, very pale and quite a bit short, plus he looks very delicate and scrawny. Usually he's wearing the Chinese Stealth Armor, his glasses (because he's blind without them!) and a pair of NVG perched on his forehead, ready to be used when needed. His ears have several piercings.

He's a huge nerd and is good with technology and repairing things. He's best with energy weapons and has a experimental scoped laser rifle which is dubbed Sovereign. Prefers stealth and shooting things from a distance. He'll get the job done any which way he can, but prefers to try and come out with what is best for everyone, even if he has to sink to dubious means to get there.. Good Karma despite his temper and general grumpiness towards most people. Kane hates being teased, especially about his height (or lack thereof) and is very easily embarrassed when hit on or flirted with (which is actually rather cute  ). Gets some serious migraines that the only cure for seems to be Mentats.

Not much for social interaction, he's very much a loner and generally doesn't get along with anyone for any length of time. About the only people he can tolerate are Moira (get them started on the technobabble and there's no end in sight!), Lucas Simms (because he's totally chill and knows how to handle Kane), and Sarah Lyons (because his grumpiness never seems to phase her and because she's probably the only person in the entire Citadel who is nice to Fawkes). He more than just tolerates Fawkes' presence because they seem to get along really well (probably due to the fact that Kane is intelligent and part of why he doesn't get along with people is they think he's trying to smart off to them with his Vault education), and he's also the only person who can tease Kane and get away with it :P

Will edit in with my question after I post this to see who is above me just in case somebody else posted before me while I typed this huge thing.

EDIT: Okay, question for Epicbigbird: Why does Ryan carry a hunting rifle that's so damaged?

EDIT: Okay, question for Epicbigbird: Why does Ryan carry a hunting rifle that's so damaged?

Ryan's rifle once belonged to his father who was killed in your common raider attack. It actually came all the way from Oklahoma with the family. The Rifle was all they had for protection, besides Ryan's Knife. However, when Ryan found this rifle laying next to Its previous owner it was in the worst condition to date. The stock was split, and the foregrip was threatening to fall off. Ryan suspected that during the struggle, the weapon had been used in hand to hand combat. As you could guess, a weapon in this condition is not a very good thing to carry in the wasteland, so Ryan had the weapon repaired when he reached a settlement. However, Ryan's meager supply of caps was just barely enough to fix the essentials, such as the stock and foregrip, and realigning the barrel.

This looks fun. :D! I think I'll give my hand at it.

I'd like to tell you the story of a man. A man called Garrett Neilson. Now, Garrett Neilson once lived in New Reno. He was an avid gambler, sadly, he svcked. After building up a large amount of debt, he turned tail and ran. After hearing some tales about a place called "The Pitt", a city that wasn't destroyed by the bombs, he set off to make a life there. They were lies. After fighting his way through a pack of wild dogs, dodging mines and almost being killed by a sniper, Garrett was enslaved. He was forced to work in the steelworks, until the former Ingot collector was killed. As the outsider, Garrett was volunteered by his new, loving chums for the job. The steelyard was a death trap, filled with weird mutants and crazed people. After a few days of survival, he managed to collect a few ingots, and a few weapons. After turning in his bounty for a new, crappy slave uniform, he found out about a competition and perhaps his ticket out of this dump.

Before entering this arena, though, he decided it would be best to 'train' himself a bit more in the Steelyard. A few more days later, Mr. Neilson was a killing machine, armed with some of the finest weaponry in The Pitt. As he made his way to The Hole, the slaves looked on him in awe. The first fight was easy, a group of poorly armed slaves. Their attacks simply bounced off Garrett's power armour whilst his unique AutoAxe tore through them. The next fight was a bit harder, he was facing two, well armed, slightly mutated and feral men. The first had a flamer which did very little damage to the power armour, however, the second brother had a glove of sorts which managed to penetrate the armour. But, they both fell to a couple of well aimed shots from Wild Bill's .32 caliber pistol (Garrett robbed it, yay). The final fight took awhile, he was fighting Gruber; A former slave who had previously won his freedom and only came back to The Hole due to his bloodthirsty nature. In the end, after a huge dose of radiation and punishment, Garrett prevailed.

He left The Hole and was rewarded with his old equipment. However, most of his old stuff was nothing compared to his new equipment, all apart from his .223 pistol. He set off to meet Ashur, but before he could get there, he was intercepted by a slave called Midea. She informed him of a plan to aquire something for Wernher. He wasn't really listening and vaguely understood what she said. With that spoken, he set off to meet Ashur. When he arrived, he found out this Ashur guy was quite a nice chap. Garrett didn't really like him though, he was expecting a cold, harsh guy. So when he left, what Midea said struck him like a tire-iron. With the help of his .223 pistol, he 'stole' the baby next door and set off to the Steelyard to meet Wernher. He met some resistance, but the Raiders had a pretty poor assortment of guns. He made it there without a hitch, gave Wernher the baby and set off. Garrett didn't like The Pitt much, it was boring, dark and grimy. Besides, he'd heard of a much better place called D.C.

He left, lugging a truck load of items with him. He set off to D.C., meeting a few randomers along the way including a man who tried to hold him up with an empty sawn-off. A couple of 10mm rounds later, he was down. After days of walking, he made it to a little town called 'Megaton', known by that name due to the bomb in the center of it. Using his skill in speech, he managed to convince the Sheriff, Lucas Simms, to cough up a fair amount of cash to disarm the bomb. Neilson knew very little about nukes, but he did know that if he waved a spanner around inside and pulled out some wires the bomb wouldn't work anymore...Or it'd explode. Either way, it was all good, apart from the second choice. Due to a HUGE amount of unexpected luck, Garrett disarmed the bomb, got a house AND plenty of caps; The caps didn't last long though as he spent them ALL on drugs and booze.

Days later, after constant binge drinking and drug abuse (drugs supplied by his good friend,
Spoiler
Leo Stahl
), he ran out of cash. Again, he ran up a huge debt with a 'powerful' man, this time it was one Colin Moriarty, owner of Moriarty's Saloon. An argument followed, then a gunshot and then a lot of running.

Basically, I killed Moriarty. And due to roleplaying, I can never really go back to Megaton and I left a lot of stuff in my house. But, I'm rolling with the punches, at least I've got my .223 pistol and a few other nice things. At the moment, I'm heading for D.C., not sure where in the city, but Gob mentioned something about 'Underworld' to Garrett, so he'll try and find that. Yay for Garrett.

EDIT: Oh, am I suppose to ask you a question, Kikai? I guess so. Here goes. How did Kane manage to get his hands on 'Sovereign'? Did he make it himself? Find it somewhere? Or a mix of the two (found a funkeh laz0r gun and pimp it out)?

We have to ask a question about the character directly above our own? So mine would be Metro, but since Toa has asked a question of Metro, and Tanis asked one of Tao, I'll ask one of Tanis. :goodjob:

Tanis - Did Orrin's marriage affect him when he ventured back out into the wastes after the honeymoon period was over. (If there is such a thing in post-apocolyptia) Did he find himself staying closer to home and not venturing as far as he would have previously - find himself being more hesitant when taking risks than he did before he had a wife to consider?

Edit: Ah I get it now. lol

It affected Orrin in a way. Due to the fact (As we all know) That megaton doesn't exactly have a lot of protection and such (aside from the majorly untrained Megaton Settlers, 2 robots, Lucas Sims and Jericho and we know Jericho is in it for himself) at first Orrin didn't want to venture to far out, but after training Lucy with a gun and teaching her to repair robots like him and set up protection, he managed to convince himself (with Lucy's assistance) to go out farther than normal, and in doing so he made quite a few friends who decided to move to Megaton and enlarge Mr. Burke's house (since Orrin killed him) and protect Lucy. Just in case people sneak by as well, Orrin asked Bittercup and Kelly to stay in his house and watch her (Orrin is a bit jealous, so he wanted it to be two woman so nothing could happen).

Ribbotson - Does Garrett have any back-up plan in case the underworld thing doesn't work out?

Edit: I forgot to mention that Orrin has also placed Big Town, Arefu and obviously Megaton under his personal protection. Big Town and Arefu are due to stories he heard being told, and Megaton because of Lucy.

Wait, are we not all supposed to ask questions, and then once all the questions have racked up, we then give the answers? I'm confoosed. I edited my answer to Metro's question out of my post, so as to wait for the answering quessies round. I'm still confooosed

Awright guys. I'ma close this board to new joiners for the moment- let's get down to brass taks and get this show on the road shall we?
I'll list all the members, and the questions put to them, if any.
Anyone who hasn't been asked a question- let's do that, and I'll update the list as the questions are asked. Once everyone's done, then we can start the answers, eh wot? :3
AHEM.

More or less in order of appearance:

Metrophor- how does your character react to her cybernetics? Was it something forced upon her? Does she resent having them, or does she embrace the technology?
(ANSWERED- It's... complicated. No, they weren't forced upon her- they were necessary for her survival at the time. Originally, however, they were very basic, low-end modifications scavenged or built from scratch from materials found around the Wasteland. They were... temperamental at best; things would stop working or behave erratically at inopportune moments. And they were uncomfortable at best, downright painful at worst.
However, the fates provided. Her faulty, broken-down prosthetics were eventually swapped out for much higher-end models (to her it's almost equivalent to having her body whole again); if you asked her now whether she embraces the technology her answer would probably be an emphatic "YES". )

OniOne- So, your character's a cannibal then, I assume? Was he born as such, or was his current state the result of slow degradation- i.e., a mutation he picked up while off wandering the Wasteland?

snowkel1- Is he the original Vault 77 dweller or is he just some random schmuck who donned the suit and decided to emulate him?

BattleSmurf-

Kyntak-

Roaven- What are some of the major hardships he's faced?

Last Best Hope Of Humanity-

redelephant-

Sdrolll-

pandaman77-

AtomicTao- how did your character receive said nerve damage?

the fishy wanderer- Since your character want to detroy what's left of humanity, is your character human? or perhaps a ghoul?

Tanis41493- Did Orrin's marriage affect him when he ventured back out into the wastes after the honeymoon period was over. (If there is such a thing in post-apocolyptia) Did he find himself staying closer to home and not venturing as far as he would have previously - find himself being more hesitant when taking risks than he did before he had a wife to consider?

TH3_LON3_W4ND3R3R- N/A

Bloody Toccata- N/A

Burkley- how did his father die?

Epicbigbird- Why does Ryan carry a hunting rifle that's so damaged?
(ANSWERED- Ryan's rifle once belonged to his father who was killed in your common raider attack. It actually came all the way from Oklahoma with the family. The Rifle was all they had for protection, besides Ryan's Knife. However, when Ryan found this rifle laying next to Its previous owner it was in the worst condition to date. Kikaimegami- How did Kane manage to get his hands on 'Sovereign'? Did he make it himself? Find it somewhere? Or a mix of the two (found a funkeh laz0r gun and pimp it out)?
(ANSWERED- While dealing with the Talon Company forces stationed at Fort Bannister, Kane came face to face with a man named Commander Jabsco who was holding this highly advanced piece of weaponry. It was a fierce duel as that specific gun is extremely dangerous and Jabsco was a very good and well-trained opponent. Eventually, he walked out the victor and his prize was Sovereign and a limited supply of the special ammo cells that the weapon takes. Now and then, he finds more ammo for the specialized rifle, usually in old military installations and very rarely someone will have some for trade, though they are terribly rare and very expensive. It took him a long time to teach himself and learn how to care for the weapon due to its unique nature, but now he can keep it in tip-top shape. Obviously, due to the scarcity of the ammo, it's not his main weapon, but because it's so powerful, it lets him take out forces from a safe distance that would normally be a challenge.)

Ribbotson- Does Garrett have any back-up plan in case the underworld thing doesn't work out?
(ANSWERED- Yup. Find another settlement. Garrett doesn't really have a specific settlement he wants to go to. He just wants somewhere thats safe, full of people, has a lot of booze and drugs. Thats all really. He overheard something about 'Rivet City' though, so if he's kicked out of Underworld, he'll probably try and find out where that is. Also, to add, he'll be earning as much money as he can on the way to Underworld, just to make sure he can settle down (with a ton of booze and drugs).)

---

So as of right now we need questions for Bloody Toccata, TH3_LON3_W4ND3R3R, Last Best Hope Of Humanity, redelephant, Sdrolll, pandaman77, BattleSmurf, and Kyntak.
Any volunteers?

(It's also from my http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1901 mod, which you can grab and get your very own difficult to find ammo for and hard to maintain weapon of awesome!)

@ Last, Best, Hope of Humanity: I'm guessing your person is a bad person and loves to slaughter people for the sake of it? Because of that, did he have a troubled past or...?

My Character:

Andrew wasn't a well guided man, nor a smart man, but he certainly knew how to survive in the hell that was the Wastes. His family became non-existent to him after he went missing one day from gathering supplies. He was 8 at the time and managed to fall into a group of Raiders during one of their parties. They accepted him for a few years, but he ended up killing them all over an argument that they'd been having over the last 2 months. He hates almost everyone now because of all that's happened to him. He's now 17! :P

He uses an Assault Rifle that was obviously modified before the war, it fires bullets three times faster than normal and can fit twice as much of a clip than normal. He's ruthless when fighting anyone and doesn't take [censored] from any person in the Wastes.

Decent character? Hehe.

Ah, ol' Damien.

The boy grew up without a dad, and woke up one day in front of a Vault. He began wandering through nearby areas, but stumbled upon a Raider hideout, Springvale Elementary. They were about to kill him when he made a bargain. He would work with them as one of their own, seeing as Raiders were short on people these days. They decided to agree, but boosted the bargain to that the Raiders got 50% of Damien's findings.

Months of being a Raider and brutal murderer gave Damien a tough exterior. Soon after, he began getting temptations to taste human flesh. He had done everything imaginable except for that. So, one day he went to Megaton. He found a man named Leo Stahl, and decided the town wouldn't miss old Leo. Leo went to sleep in the family's house, and Damien broke in. Nobody heard him come in, and Damien went up the stairs to find Leo sleeping like a baby.

Damien crept up and slit Leo's throat deeply, and cut out a chunk of Leo's arm. He took a bite, and realised that human flesh tasted delicious. He ate wildly away at Leo's corpse and left only bones. He quickly escaped and fled Megaton. He needed more human meat. He killed any wastelander who approached him and ate them. He was becoming an addict to canniballism.

After a few days heading south, Damien found a small town of two houses and two families. They were too trusting. They would last as food for at least a full month. Damien entered one house, to find an old man babbling about the people being killers. Damien put the geezer to rest. Damien went to see what the man meant about the people being 'killers'. He broke into the second house's basemant and found corpses and human flesh everywhere.

Seeing as these people were fellow cannibals, he left the house, and found them at the front door. Damien explained his actions and his canniballism, and they all became quick friends. Damien lived with them for weeks, enjoying meat pies and meals with them. He left after the first week and headed north. He came into a metro station, and found a gang of pale people. They all were cannbals. Damien had no idea there were so many cannibals in the wasteland. He stayed there for a few days and headed north again.

He came into Paradise Falls, and met the owner, Eulogy Jones. He had a slave named Clover, who Damien took a liking to. Damien bought Clover from Eulogy, left, and got rid of Clover's slave collar. Deciding that he had found his life partner, he settled in a small home in Grayditch with Clover. He redecorated everything to his liking. Several scavengers came inside to explore, who were soon killed. Damien keeps their heads as trophies and sets them on a shelf.
Damien is still cannibal, his house still has blood and corpses draqed everywhere, and he's still with Clover.

There's my character's life story.

now, for Burkley's question...

how did his father die?

His father was trying to make a deal with Col. Autumn about that old purifier. He knew it could be a source of control and power in the wastes, and what ally can be better than the Enclave? Well, things went ugly went his father wanted to talk to Eden himself, of course Autumn denied that request and demanded to work with him and with him only. As our character was held by two Enclave soldiers, while Col. Autumn and his father exchanged shots. Col. Autumn, like always managed to survive and let free our character.
