ANYWAY.
I am a roleplayer both by nature and by trade, and one of my favorite parts of any RPG story is character development. Also, I am a curious person who likes to hear other people ramble on about their characters (as well as rambling on about my own).
So I had this idea come to me tonight, while sitting at my desk and playing with rubber bands editing some articles for work. The idea in question is as follows:
Introduce your characters here. Just a paragraph is fine; we just want the bare bones at this point. For example- name, age, some background information; perhaps karma level and a brief physical/psychological description.
Once enough people have joined -let's say 'ten', although it's apt to change depending on who's interested- I'll start asking specific questions about said characters.
Specifically, the board will operate as follows:

It will be set up in round-robin fashion. After we have enough people, each person will look at the character directly above theirs, and ask a question about that character. This round will be followed by answers, followed by another round of questions, et cetera.

I'd prefer if questions were meaningful rather than just silly, but there's nothing that says the two are mutually exclusive.

If there's anything unclear in my above post, please let me know and I'll try to clarify.

Anyway, without further ado, I'll just give you a short blurb about my own character.

Sabine Nabokova
...Is presently 21 years of age, although there are days when she feels a lot older. She's on the shorter side of average height, a massive tech nerd, and prefers diplomatic solutions rather than just shooting people full of holes. Was a major tomboy as a kid, and is often up to her elbows in grease, wiring and solder (comes of being a Pip-Boy Programmer).
She's also a cyborg, carries around an antiaircraft rifle, walks with a slight limp and keeps some very unlikely company. Is Russian/Asian by ethnicity.

No name.

In his middle-twenties or there abouts, tall and rugged but far from strong, some would call him skeletal if they judged his weight on his sharp and drawn facial features. He would be described as Caucasian, but he doesn’t recognise racial types in the people he encounters, so can’t appreciate his own.

He is mute, and his internal monologue generally consists of desire meets satisfaction. Desire: Hungry. Hunts, kills…. Satisfaction: Eats. The kill could be anything from a Molerat to a human being. He’s even tasted Ghoul meat but it didn’t satisfy.

He’s proficient with and favours hunting rifles. But he isn’t attached to any particular rifle, and he will drop one at a moments notice if another, better one presents itself. All he knows is the Wasteland, and he isn’t capable of imagining or appreciating anything better. Settlements are where others come and go, and sometimes when they go, they don’t come back, because he’s hungry and they're easy to kill.

Edit: Outfit- extremely ratty Merc Adventurer outfit, and a pre-war hat... keep's the sun out of his eyes. Not sure how I'm gonna answer questions about this non-thinking animal of a character, but, meh.

Favourite food: None. He eats just about anything, and it all tastes bad to him

He descends from a family which served as spies for the communists during the great war. He is a skilled sniper and a survivalist who lives in a trailer in a campground.
Though he never hurts innocent people (unless the reward is really good), he likes to steal pretty much anything he want or needs. Beacause of the harsh life in the wasteland, he is often seen drinking whiskey to which he has developed an addiction.
Though he is an alcoholic and a thief, he's very proud of his roots and is not afraid to take out his anger on the dangers of the wasteland and the Enclave.

Current objective: Raise enough money so he can make his way to Canterburry Commons and invest in the caravan traders. His coat is in desperate need of repair.

Character profile

Mysterious Stranger

.....is a male in around his thirties. Profesional lockpicker and magnum user he sneaks around the wasteland wasteing anyone who shoots first. Showing up from town to town steal the bare essentials to live before leaving again. His houses are everywhere around the wastes but he moves to a different one every week leaving only one item of clothing a proof he's been there. From the occasional stealing it was deduced he was a good lockpicker and from his choice of targets it was assumed that he is well informed (either well liked, hacks terminals, has been there before under a different alias or all 3). The only ofer knowlage of him is that his hunting ground pattern varies but not in turn with hi houses so we're never sure if it's near his house or far away. His name is not known but he has been labed the Mysterious Stranger.

Roaven
Roaven is tall and thin, with dark blue eyes and obsidian black hair. He appears weary, as he has seen more hardship than many will ever see. He is seen wearing either Combat armor of some sort or Power armor, usually the standard variety. He is an amazing shot with Small Guns, particularly his favorite, the hunting rifle. However, he is rarely seen without a grenade strapped to his waist. He focused his skills around being self sufficient, and as such is able to heal, shoot, blow stuff up, hack computers, and persuade people to see things his way, both with words and with guns. He attempts to keep his comrades alive in battle, and usually wanders Alone, occasionally with a super mutant named Fawkes at his side.

Alex
Alex enjoys a messy kill, and likes to throw his enemies' corpses/remains, off of high clifftops. He is usually seen wearing Range Battle Armor, Lagbolt's Shades, and Red's bandana, while sporting a nice tall mohawk. Alex doesn't have a preference when it comes to weapon types, he usually just chooses whichever weapon has the highest chance of causing mass death and or destruction. When Alex isn't mercilessly slaughtering who ever he feels like, he likes to head down to Moriarty's for some drinks. He prefers travelling with his dog, Dogmeat, rather than travelling with people. The last time he tried to get along with a human companion... well, lets just say it ended badly. Really badly. Alex's favorite food would have to be Dandy Boy Apples, for their shear juiciness. Along with a nice box of apples, he likes to chug down a few bottles of a Nuka-Cola, which is usually followed by more endless murdering.

So as you can see, overall, Alex is a really nice guy, and he looks to forward to meeting you out in the wastes! :tops:

Coming from a wealthy family, he drinks only the finest Purified Water, and can easily afford everything he needs with all the caps he inherited following his parents "accidental" death. He has no time for the lower class, and disposes of them as necessary, not bothering to loot their bodys. He is a very capable fighter, specializing in conventional weapondry, particularly rifles. He dosen't bother making his own weapons, he just buys whatever he needs with the extra money from the slave trade. He collects things of historical signifigace as he dosen't need any money from Abraham Washington, and he has several artifacts in his house such as Abraham Lincolns Diary and Lincolns Rifle, which he uses occaisonally in combat. His biggest regret is not destroying the abomination of a town, Megaton.

Likes to help people out, but still has some bad karma, sort of two faced/schemer, but not many people know his true side

Likes exploring, like shooting things.

Coming from the vault, the idea of an entire area outisde of it, in a bright sunlight with tons of things to explore excites him, and wakes him up in the wee hours of he morning just to go and explore. He loves making new friends, but also likes things being in his benefit, and will betray if neccessary. He doesnt trust easily, and will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. He has been known to kill just to attain a trivial artifact and satisfy his greed, but nothing he has killed for yet is very substantial. He discovered the outcasts of the brotherhood recently, and whilst not being able to join them, has been devising a plan over the past two weeks to slaughter them all and take their armor, without being caught and leaving evidence. He blew up Megaton, and helped the ghouls infest Tenpenny tower. But the more and more he comes back to Tenpenny, the more disgusted he becomes with what has become of it. Those ghouls wont last much longer.

Rex Rayborne is in his mid twenties. He's a prodigy, a chip off the old block, and that chip sits squarely on his shoulder. He is fascinated by Science (with a capital S) and is fully given over to the exploration and use of science to better the world and his own lot in life. Rex Rayborne is not his real name, it's a name he adopted when he left Vault 101 and first found himself doing something for the good of the Wasteland. If he's going to be a hero (and it doesn't seem like the people of the Wasteland can really help themselves, so it's gonna have to be him: he is the Wasteland's most benevolent jerk) he needs a heroic name. He has an affection for Energy Weapons, Nuka Cola Quantum, and his dog Twain, an old Cyberdog he found in a military outpost. He has a cybernetic arm... the arm his PipBoy is clamped onto sustained nerve damage a long time ago. He has short brown hair and brown eyes, usually hidden behind a pair of anti-glare tank goggles.

Description: Orrin is a simple man. He carries around his .44 Magnum for close up and a little farther away, an Infiltrator (He see's it as a Sniper Rifle with a bit more..."bang" for his buck) and a Combat Shotgun to blow away those who he despises. He is a good man, more eager to program a robot or repair people's equipment than he is to shoot, but that doesn't mean he won't kill you without remorse if the need be. He likes to kick back at his Megaton Home (After killing Mr. Burke for being Evil) and smoke a cigarette and drink a beer with his wife, Lucy West.

Mission: To eventually start his own group of mercenaries that rids the world of it's evil, one finger at a time.

Sentinel Maximus:

Born in Vault 101, he was a close friend of Butch Deloria. As Butch progressed, he became narcississtic, and arrogant. His name in the Vault was AC, which were his initials for his real name Aaron Cunneen. He was born with Irish descent, his father who was an important aspect of his life left the vault his world ended. He was in love with a girl known as Amata, and he new the overseer killed Jonas, AC pulled the trigger on the 10mm pistol as the overseer had been decapitated.

Amata was unforgiving, it tore her apart knowing her best friend killed her father. AC escaped the vault, as watched as something spectacular was seen on the horizon, although it wasn't a dream world it was bigger than any vault had to offer. He found a settlement called Megaton, and became a resident there. The Sheriff Lucas Simms was a stern man, who was very secretive. He met a man named Burke, who implored AC to blow up Megaton. AC knew Burke was too dangerous to engage conversation with the town, so he down it himself. Using a few rounds of his pistol he executed Burke inside the Brass Lantern. Everyones eyes peered round, as AC met Moriarty for the first time. Mortiarty respected the Irish culture the two shared, and informed AC of his fathers location. Gathering up, his Vault 101 Jumpsuit, Chinese Assault Rifle, and 10mm pistol he headed to Galaxy News Radio.

He encountered his favourite faction he has ever known. The Brotherhood of Steel, he met Sentinel Sarah Lyons who told him he could not join. It shattered his dreams, but he continued his journey. He found out information on his father from three dog, AC went through a simulation, and found a secret way to stop the evil Dr.Braun Chinese Soldiers invaded Tranquility Lane and killed almost everyone, after AC exited the sim, he saw his father face to face as the two hugged. His father explained his reasons, and asked AC to join with him. AC agreed, as they headed to rivet city, and found Dr.Li a long time friend, and colleague of James. AC, James, Dr Li, and her team headed to project purity, but things turned out terrible. Colonel Autumm of the Enclave killed one of Li's colleagues. As he threatened James. James sacrificed himself, as AC wept a tear from his eye. They went into the taft tunnel, as Garza a colleague of Li's could no longer continue. AC was left with a hard decision, one he would regret. They left Garza behind, and continued to the Citadel. As AC's dream, was about to became a reality.

Tanis - Did Orrin's marriage affect him when he ventured back out into the wastes after the honeymoon period was over. (If there is such a thing in post-apocolyptia) Did he find himself staying closer to home and not venturing as far as he would have previously - find himself being more hesitant when taking risks than he did before he had a wife to consider?

Chaos. This is perhaps the best, singular word to describe this entity. Nobody knows exactly whether to curse him or praise him. His whims are his guide, or lack thereof, resulting in an equal lack of accurate predictions as to his next move. He might want to dismember you by hand one day, or feel bored enough to escort you to hell and back on another. It even extends to his own physical appearance; perhaps he will be that mysterious businessman in the corner, or the more visible duster-wearing "Wandering Hero". Yet a few things remain constant, each of them unfathomable as the others: unerring politeness, surviving against all odds, and always wearing sunglasses. Yes, even at night or indoors. And indoors at night. One should not make the mistake of calling him "insane", as despite the chaos he is, in fact, dangerously sane, and naturally has no qualms against "correcting" such rudeness. Swiftly. With a smile. While still being unnaturally polite. Really loves Chianti and walking through the Fourth Wall. Currently stuck in a cheap Silent Hill knock-off, again.
