I don't watch to many of the let's play video's, most just don't peak my interest... ( plus my data runs off my cell phone...I'm picky)
The ones I do like tend to be light to mid Role Plays, Interesting characters.... and while I have nothing against semi skimpy armor...I would rather see armor that makes sense for the character. For example a "paladin" style character in Deadric?? makes no sense at all...
You say "heavily modded"...have the mods make sense for what is going on.
You can even change them ... though I am not sure about ENB's... but you could go from a Hero for good and the Light.. using say an "ultra real" type ENB to an Anti-Hero out to take over Nirn, using something like "Grim and Somber"... if of course you can't change ENB's like that... then Imaginator would be a good mod to use and high-light...as it would allow for that kind of change. ( even has some pre-sets to make tweeking it easier). Back-ground music would help in that aspect also... The type of Armor, Something like SPO armor for the "good" side and something like the "Evil MasterMind Armor" for the "dark" side. The right "home" will help set the mood also.
Their are plenty of "new location" and "quest" mods, that would give your character something to do... So following the "vanilla" game or DLC's isn't really needed. I mean I have had "Northern Encounters" downloaded and checked on the majority of my characters for the last 6 months, but most of them have only "explored" a tiny % of the mod's contents. I like some of us here, tend to make my own stories, using the game and/ or Mod's to make the RP work.
Tell your own story... that is probably the most interesting thing one can do at this point... It may use some of the quests.. or not
