Let's recap the possible FO4's DLC

Post » Thu Jan 14, 2016 10:59 am

Here i'm not sure if we can be able to have a family, since we can be the most terrible psycho mass murder, thief, and jerk ever meet, but still doing good actions and saving the wasteland.

Maybe is just like Skyrim:

-wife: here's your cash honey

-son: oh daddy can i have some caps?

But just because we are in Fallout 4 so we could possible have to "improve" our relations with our family.

But it's all about the synth. Real human this time please. More factions like Paradise Falls, The Pitt raiders and Caesar's Legion. Is not the same thing.

I would love to see an Underwater DLC

Primary Details before reading

*Adds an array of water based enemies to the Commonwealth.

Backstory: A Scientist who's family researches the effects the war had on ocean life. Yearning to discover the truth about why there are irradiated fish(which shouldn't be a thing since no nukes were aimed at the ocean). After talking about a mysterious city of Atlantis you and the scientist head into a submarine and into the ocean to find the answers.

During the submarine ride you're attacked by irriated ocean life. You suit up in special Power Armor AQUA and kill the hostile marine life.

Upon reaching Atlantis you discover its a giant city inside a shattered glass dome. After exploring Atlantis you discover it was actually Vault 010 that was designed to survive in the saftey of Underwater. It's mission was actually to experiment the effects of FEV on marine life.

The backstory behind the Vault's destruction(left behind on water sustainable holodisks) entail about how the glass dome began wearing out and cracks and leaks began appearing around the dome of the city. The inhabitants knew their only chances of survival were to experiment on each other. They became fish people and cracked open the vaults dome. Freeing themselves.. and their strain of FEV as well as their freakish marine experiments on the world's ocean.

Ocean Bestiary

Mirelurks

Fangfish: Irradiated fish, come in various colors and species(such as angel fish/clown fish). Uses basic bites.

Mermaid: Descendents of Female Vault Dwellers, legs conjoined over time and their feet became a fin. Mermaids use a sonic scream and a claw attack.

Merman: Descendents of Male Vault Dwellers, while their legs didn't conjoin over time they developed more scaley skin. Their hands and feet developed fins. They use unarmed attacks as well as weaponry, such as rusted pipes as spears.

Bloatfish: Puffer Fish that evolved into terrifying spike covered creatures. Lunge at enemies as they puff up. When killed they blow up, releasing a cloud of spikes and guts.

Echoes: Dolphins that evolved from both FEV and radiation over time. They look largely the same as todays dolphins except they have glowing eyes and sharp teeth. They have a sonic attack similar to Mermaids.

Seastinger: Eels that evolved into hideous creatures. They emit electric damage passively to creatures around then. As well as sting enemies.

Deathjaw: Deathclaws of the deep. Sharks who were modified by the vaults FEV. Terrifying creatures feared by most sealife, including Merpeople themselves.

Bosses

Quest Related: Upon clearing out the Vault to discover facts about the ocean life, whilst reaching the Overseers giant office is the DLC's only mandatory boss.

Poseidon: A giant blue Merman. His high intellect grew into Hydrokinesis over the centuries. He can control the water, launching the Sole Survivor all over the ocean floor. Around his neck is the Key to the Overseers secret files.

Optional/Exploration Bosses

Omega Deathjaw: A high level Deathjaw, White in color. Most ferocious and menacing of all Deathjaws.

The One: A giant shamu, seemingly untouched by war and radiation. Inplied to have lived inside the vault but wasn't experimented on. High HP pool.

Princess Arial: A giant mermaid. Has fiery red hair. Her Sonic Scream has enhanced AoE. Vault files can conclude she was the previous overseer and was the one who created Merpeople.

Armor & Clothing

Power Armor AQUA set: Power Armor used throughout the DLC

Scuba Suit: Worn by Dr. Stanely as she follows you in Atlantis.

Vault 010 Uniform: Picked up Around the Cities ruins.

Mermaid Skirt: Seashell Bra and "grass skirt" made of strands of scales from a mermaid's tail. (Obtained from Princess Arials corpse)

Dr. Stanely's Lab Coat: A white lab coat covering a white buttoned shirt and a black leather skirt. Black knee-high boots accompany the outfit.

Characters

Dr. Kierra Stanely: A rather beautiful african-american woman. Grew up being raised to study ocean biology from her parents. Seeks to understand the wastelands ocean life.

Can be recruited as companion after finishing the DLC's main story.

Deathclaw taming DLC! I want to raise it from egg to advlt. Have it as a companion or have Deathclaw guarding my city. If they're smart enough to speak they're smart enough to be pets. Ill name mine Shaun.

More Detective Agency Case Files and the option to Romance Nicks secretary.

Different types of dog companions. I want my husky dang it not a German Shepard

A DLC rivalling Lonesome Road in sheer difficulty. A reason for all these heavy guns!

Beasts of the Wastes DLC, adding more monsters to the game, I want massive enemies that require more than a combat knife to kill. Mirelurk Queen was a good start. Maybe a mission into the ocean on a boat taking on a giant kracken like beast. Can Danse on a Vertibird manning a Gatling Laser and you on the ship avoiding death. If you fall over board you die. You'd have a time limit. All set in a new location. With new quests and enemies.

Yeah this. I'd hoped that Beth took notice of someguy's http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/56353/? and added this feature. That would've been a great way to grow strength, agility, endurance, and your purse :vaultboy:

TBH, I think Bethesda should just make a DLC on Piper. Like everyone is Piper, Piper caps, Piper raiders, Piper Dogemeats. Like come on Bethesda get with the program ?? (This is a joke btw)

I would love to see a Fallout: Atlantis DLC. Possibly having some connection the Enclave or even an alien life connection.

Edit:

Plus some sixier armor and clothes to be worn with armor for a female PC or companion. Piper looks good in her original outfit, but as soon as you equip her with armor she looses it.

Be able to dye my Vault suit would be cool as well. I'm fed up with blue.

For those folks talking about a DLC back in the Mojave, and bringing aliens back (read that up thread somewhere)...I just revisited Cabot and got the artifact gun, and he mentioned that his father believed there was a massive underground alien base back in the Mojave, and that he'd probably head that way. Just saying...not out of the realm of possibility, however unlikely it might be.

Short list of minor things I'd like 1-more mountable heads, like yoa gui, death claws, hell even raiders and super mutants lol 2- it'd be nice to have like random brotherhood supply crashes, like a vertibird with supplies gets shot down (shocker), if your with them recover supplies, if your against them steal them. Maybe add random suits of level dependent power armor the Bos "confiscated", so people like me who found all the frames at a low level have a chance to get x-01 armor parts other than from Rowdy. 3- chance to find legendary power armor parts with generic legendary effects, they have an effect just for power armor that increases the armor health, and it's wasted on one raider arm as far as I know. 4- more battles like defending the castle, with like waves of enemies. Maybe a minuteman scout notices a huge raider/super mutant/gunner/Bos/institute force heading towards (insert random populated settlement). Help defend against waves of said enemy. 5- self portraits, idk more decorations other than those lame paintings, like posters and stuff they already have made, just add'em to the list. 6- yeah so I'm sure something was supposed to go here and I'll remember as soon as I post this, but these seem doable to me, like I said earlier, if I had a computer actually worth it's weight in [censored] I'd try modding all these things into existence... Side note, is there anyway to quickly patent or trademark ideas?...

Sorry for the cramped ness of the post, just thought of another.

7-After a certain mayor has to leave for certain reasons in dc, maybe the sole survivor can take over the job. Altering the power and social differences of the upper and lower stands. Just heard a guard mention to my character that they're in need of a new mayor. Basically I just really want to stick it to those arrogant, snooty, entitled snobs who hang out at the tap house outside

Sorry guys last one... For now. Lol, but more power armor paint jobs from magazines, maybe flat black, camo's, pinup girls like the old bombers had, navy themed, maybe find an enclave armor scheme in an abandoned bunker, skulls, holding out hope for a shameless rip of the firebird Phoenix painted on your chest haha

And rewatching the main E3 video is really interesting find some concept art about the underwater world

But hey, if they made that, i still think our power armor can be like a sort of Big Daddy power armor, and maybe also a drill eheh.

I was a little disappointed with the Witch Museum in Salem. Come on, at least put some ghouls and ghost stories with a proper atmosphere in there. I kinda hope they do something spooky for a DLC.

Also, I can see something in a National Park happening. Out in the wilds, kinda like Honest Hearts. That would be cool, especially with survival mods.

I do like the ideas of underwater and the moon, but now it's starting to sound like you guys want an RPG shooter in space. I don't really imagine fallout 4 taking that turn. I think it would be pretty cool to travel back to the Capital Wasteland to see what the Lone Wanderer accomplished. I mean it already has signs Bethesda might take that turn, with Macready, and Madison Li. I think it would be a pretty neat idea.

I still think the Lone Wanderer is actually in space, fighting the aliens and try to save earth by their invasions. Also no one knows where he/she is now.

According to the Prima guide, he remained in the Capital Wasteland up until 2290/91 2297.

Motsie is right and its updated on the Wikia aswell.

By 2297, the Lone Wanderer had disappeared from the Capital Wasteland, and their fate was unknown. Most citizens of the wasteland had a story about the Wanderer, and many of his or her actions had gone down as local legend. History had even forgotten whether they were a man or a woman. Much of the documentation of their actions had however became flawed, and were riddled with conflicting reports. On the 10th of September, Moira Brown began work on a biography of the Lone Wanderer.

But it's written by Moira Brown. How much "canon" can be her font?

Uhh no.

Its never said how long the LW stayed in the C.W., even in the prima guide.

Only that she is now just writing about his/her deeds.

These are some of the items I would love to see in some form of DLC:

- Able to edit some parts of all faction headquarters like settlements, not just the Minutemen (i.e. put crafting stations in a room in the Institute.)

- More faction quests

- Ability to truly manage your chosen factions (i.e. replace and recruit leaders/staff, make caps from their team operations, and maybe hold brief meetings with leaders to decide where they focus their efforts and see visual results. Get a report after.)

- A new armor created by the Institute as a successor to power armor. Something totally innovative, less bulky, and futuristic. X-01 Power Armor is cool but old.

- Better settlement options (totally replace damaged buildings, stone and brick, add more tech. The war is over so we should be able to truly rebuild some places.)

- Ability to have Synth Implants installed when joining the Institute (think Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Kellogg. Boosting abilities beyond human capabilities).

- Be able to chose any color for your power armor as well as finishes.

- Have something like the NCR emerge and build a headquarters in a fictional fallout version of the TD Garden in Boston.
