Let's recap the possible FO4's DLC

Post » Thu Jan 14, 2016 3:51 am

Well maybe can be "bad" but i really wish an improvement about the seasons, and the possible holydays still celebrated in Boston.

Ok we saw halloween and Xmas, but what about the others?

I hope they do more with all of he great bridges they have. I've found some cool stuff. But, for all those bridges, I was expecting huge enemy bases.

I wonder, though, with the television that we can build in our settlements, we can not have television broadcasts. In this way, it would be fun to watch TV in the post apocalypse. Or even play video games. With a parody of the Atari or NES.

And then, it would be fun to see:

-cartoni animated: the misadventures of the Vault Boy in Wasteland; Gnognak the barbarian

-advertising pre-war: it would be fun to revisit and revise old commercials. Maybe it could be an excuse to find new quests and treasures hidden in Boston

-Movies: Yeah, why not put it on the small screen some old film of 1950?

-my Wasteland: in this case would be the youtube of Fallout 4, and visualize all the crazy and funny video created by fans.

-Galaxy News: As for the radio, I think this would be good news to report, in a purely neutral, what happens in Boston, and what happened after our intervention. maybe they could give way to new quests, and some linked to the treasure hunt! Or do you work as a mercenary.

A bit of karma. Enclave were this fascist genocide-type [censored]s, so let them have become what they hate most! "Muties"!

Let's say that we have one particular squad of troops that runned with expired Fusion Cores that leaked some radiation Ghoulifying the them.

A bit of change of hearth later, they are a "good guys" but reduced to one single squad. You can join and help them establish The Enclave anew with new directory and purpose.

Possible DLC, eh? Tricky. I guess it's all about when we get access to it (level locked? Story locked? Open access?), and which factions are still around to benefit. Maybe we'll see a DLC that can be completed for the benefit of any faction, but Beth seems o be more inclined to keep DLC stories pretty self-contained.

Wouldn't be too surprised to see something a little like Operation Anchorage, involving the Memory Den. Hunting Chinese infiltrators for the BOS, a bit of pre-war shenanigans, since they already showed us that they've done modeling work for the landscape and environment. Or maybe a Minutemen flashback, or Moon-booting for the Institute. Either way, the Memory Den seems like a pretty solid bet for a DLC plot hook.

We've got a lot of basically empty Glowing Sea dripping off the edge of the map, so a Children of Atom story might be coming.

The Supermutants were basically just popup targets with no personality (Swan aside) in the vanilla game, so maybe we'll see a story that opens their faction up a bit. Someone local is writing out orders for them.

We'll probably see an obligatory BOS storyline that includes flying somewhere in an airship to do something awful to innocent people for no apparent reason. If we're lucky we'll get the opportunity to kill off the crew, commandeer the ship, hire a band of raiders, and turn into sky pirates, like Robert De Niro in Stardust.

Honestly I doubt there's an underwater dlc coming. They didn't put any effort into modeling anything interesting in any of the lakes, ponds, or the ocean. No critters (dead hell-dolphins aside), no vegetation. If DLC was in the works I'd have expected them to telegraph it by having some of the visual resources already in place. Just my 2 cents on that. Could be wrong. I could see something offshore centered around boats, ships, an aircraft carrier, something like The Raft in Snowcrash.

It would be interesting to see what The Enclave looks like a decade after the events of FO3. To say the least.

I think it'd also be nice to maybe, somehow, travel the seas with the captain of the Chinese submarine vessel. I hope thats as far as they go as "underwater" DLC goes. I really hate traveling underwater, and trying to do underwater battles, especially with any type of sea monster is just really not that appealing to me.

I'm hoping being able to build the perfect city, maybe a 'Hearthfire' esque DLC, with the ability to build a city like Diamond City, and make it THE blossoming city of the Commonwealth.

I've told plenty of folks I know, these people know how to make a DLC, so I'm not worried regardless of what they do.

Firstly I'll say what I've said on these forums before - if I can believe in big green hulks and 200 year old zombies I can believe in aliens.

That does NOT bother me.

What might be a decent idea is a new faction, the Brotherhood Outcasts were taking a real beating from Lyons clan post F3 and any request for help from other chapters was denied, causing some serious Ill feeling towards both Lyons AND their supposed 'family'.

Enclave had just about been wiped out and were really struggling but, still had some amazing tech and supplies so... It was mutually beneficially fit the Outcasts and the remnants of The Enclave to team up and create a new faction.

They don't care about mass genocide or Brotherhood rules, together they pool their vast knowledge, research and tech together to create the beginnings of a new army with amazing tech and their mission is to 1. Destroy Elder Lyons/Maxim's Brotherhood and help out in ANY areas in the wasteland where the common folk are bullied and intimidated by the Brotherhood.

They stand for the the little man, giving them a voice. The ones left behind.

Because they know what it is like.

It also gives them a mission with a bit of longevity to it.

Would be great exterminating old a list of high ups who were once your friend/brother/allies.

And some of the NPC dialogue between ex Outcasts and ex Enclave could be quite amusing.

Seriously hope no more enclave, let's bury that terrible faction and never bring it back except small mentions.

Yeano, outcasts were re-intergrated into the BoS, that schism was fixed.

A grave would be interesting? Because they were wiped out. Seriously, they lost a large portion of their forces, The Oil Rig, Navarro, Raven Rock, Adams Air Force Base, their vertibird fleet so even if they are nothing but a handful of remnants they would be to scattered to actually rebuild and if they tried they would've been hunted down by the BoS whose influence grew across the eastern seabound after Maxson took charge. Enclave are D-E-A-D like they should be. They're done, nothing left but remnants who would've had a better chance secretly intergrating with the settlements then trying to fix themselves after ALL of their bases were destroyed with a majority of their soldiers and personnel.

Well i would like to see a DLC about the Terminator. I mean where the synths starts to replace the main scientists or people from the Commonwealth, only to conquer the world and destroy the human race. Imagine us, ready to help the Institute or the other many factions to stop this "problem" and save the world before another human mistake.

While I was playing through Fallout 4, I was thinking, "what if Bethesda made an ending where the Sole Survior was a synth, and didn't know it until the end." I think that would be a really cool, kindve sci-fi DLC.

I've been reading everywhere on different forums how people want it to be like a multiplayer map. You could invite friends do do quests with you etc.

I absolutely HATE this idea. I'm sorry, but that isn't the point of fallout. (Or skyrim.. And look what they did with Elder scrolls. [censored] horrible.) The idea of multiplayer gameplay would be so ridiculous, people trolling on your settlements, burning them down, stealing various things. Trolls killing important NPCs basically not allowing you to have the chance of quests, or basic dialogue.

Aside from that, I'd really love to see NPCs from fallout 3 like moira, moriarty, or even my old faithful companion Charon. Even if they had an old town to visit from a previous fallout! It would be so awesome to see!

Marriage would be cool I suppose, then I could make them become a shop owner and I'd take all their caps. Adoption would be cool, like the feature in Skyrim? But I feel like that's pushing the whole mood of The game.

I wouldn't necessarily want a base on the moon, more like a base underground talking about space, warfare plans, etc. Maybe like old government ruins underground containing terminals and files of crazy [censored] that's happened or whatever.

Maybe add mutated horses/animals you could ride.

Underwater ship you can explore. ( you'd have to talk to someone specific to get diving suit. There are some parts missing so you have to gather them, then craft the rest of the suit. It could be a massive ship like the titanic or something holding lots of valuable loot you can sell, or keep for yourself.) irradiated fish could be potential enemies and you can kill them for fish belly, or fish chunks.

More settlement nonsense to craft. I want to build a fridge dammit, and maybe some Windows?

That's all I can really think of. I'd like the option of becoming a goul as well. It'd be badass, and I'm not talking about the goulish perk. I no longer want to be a smooth skin.

I'm hoping for a pro-synth Institute off-shoot that lives in an underwater city and they were completely taken over and destroyed by terminator like synths that want to take over the world just so all these "let's hug synths" hippies will shut up. And institute submarine power armor prototype. Like the one from the concept art.

-Psyker-related DLC. Likely involving the Sole Survivor gaining some psychic abilities, possibly by using chems (new mentants flavors?) as "ammo".

-Super-Mutant focused DLC. Likely involving the Sole Survivor transforming into a Super-Mutant (permanently until the conclusion of the DLC and then at-will to and from when complete)

I want post-game DLC, which is to say DLC that happens after the events of the game's main mission. I would also like DLC that expands on companions or at least adds new ones.

Well, after the Cherry Cola, Quantum and Classic, i wish to see new types of Nuka Cola like:

-Victory and Quartz from New Vegas

-Orange

-Blue Berry

-Strawberry

-Diet Cola

-Light Cola

I'm really curios if the "famous" Nuka Cola company work on new and different types of colas before the bombs

Personally I'd like to see a continuation to each ending but logistically I doubt it. A DLC that continued other quests would be good though.

I like the idea of a pre-war DLC but they'd have to make it good and interesting. Maybe the institute has made a way to travel back in time, so you could go to this DLC map, get goodies that didn't have rads, maybe we'd see those other flavored Nuka colas, maybe they'd have a way for us to break into the vault and grab some things like a new pre war suit OF POWER ARMOR. Yeah that'd be awesome sauce. But what would the quests be? I mean honestly, I feel as though you'd just be reminiscing when you had your son significant other and a new Codsworth rather than a rusty one.

Uhm... well is hard to say, because making a pre war DLC will be back in time before the bombs. This will be like a sort of time travel. Only if someone invent a special time machine and maybe be able to stop the bomb, and for "science reasons" creating like a sort of parallel dimension where the bombs never be dropped.

Or just reviving these old memories in the Memory Den. That's all i can say.
