The Thalmor are a recent thing. Altmer have never conducted genocides or even any conquest save for their fling with Valenwood... which only lead to a everlasting loyal bond between the bosmer and altmer. And to top it off, the bosmer were saved from Khajiit aggression, and the khajiit were saved from a vicious plague. All thanks to the one time the Altmer got "aggressive." How about them vapples?


Altmer violence does not even begin to compare to the all so innocent nords.



Oh, and the thalmor are in response to the heinous atrocities of the all so benevolent Talos. But NOW the nords are going to play the victim card, how rich.

Atmorans =/= Nords

Nords are the decendants, perhaps, but it was the Atmorans driving the Falmer undergrounds, not Nords. Don't mix the two. The Falmer weren't exactly kind to the Atmorans either.

For me, I always choose Dark Elves or Bretons.

I like the High Elves and I have never really chosen races based on their stats, but their overall looks. They don't speak to me as much as the other races. In Morrowind I always loved the Dark Elves for their ruggish and tough look. Brought back kind of in Skyrim, I want my earrings back.

I went with Bretons in Oblivion because I have always liked the way they looked, then Skyrim made them ugly so Dark Elves for me.

I'm an artist, a writer, I draw, etc. I'm the type of person whom sadly likes, the pretty males. Its not easy making a high elf in Skyrim look pretty. All though in Oblivion I was able to make a pretty male high elf who looked somewhat human.

But I never really liked them because it seemed like.

I disagree with everyone. Even though I know not all of them are evil, it's their attitude that stinks big time. For that I'll never make a high elf again.

Atmorans and Nords are one and the same. They simply underwent a name change when they migrated to Tamriel.

Atmorans are Nords. Pure nords. Saying nords are not atmoran is like saying greeks are not ancient greeks. Culturally, Yes they are different. But genetically they are very identical save for the prevalence of inevitable interracial relationships clouding the pool. But they are still mostly the same.


Point being, the Altmer have very little in bloodshed, bested only by the Bosmer and Khajiit.

I am well aware that Nords are not saints, Hevnoraak, and I'm hardly playing victim. But surely you are not unaware of the Thalmor's slaughter of the Imperial City? And the slaughter of those of "non-Aldmeri blood" when the Thalmor came to power in the Summerset Isle? (As recorded by an Altmer refugee from the Thalmor in his series of in-game books, "Rising Threat."), and the slaughter of THEIR OWN people in the Night of Green Fire?

Not to mention the capture and torture of innocent people whose "crime" is merely the worship of a god the Thalmor by themselves don't recognize, Tiber Septim's deeds in mortal life aside.

And Crazyguy, please stop. Ysgramor is as much a Nord as Eorlund Greymane.
