I think Dragonborn, and to that extent Bloodmoon as they take place on the same Island. It might be Shivering Isles though. Not sure we are talking huge as in locations, or just pure landmass.

There are "atleast" 2 synths in the Capital Wasteland (aka F3) as far as we know. So what are you saying exactly?
Yeah I'm pretty sure B would do something like that but slightly rename it in a dlc.
Don't know. Descendants of a certain vault maybe? Could be that if there is a great leader (like a pope) in the CoA, he/she is in possession of an artifact like .. in one of the quests in F4 remember there were multiple "sites"?
Nah, they all be about balance and stuff. Kinda like druids/shamans XD
Their "forest/spirit realm" being nuclear particles or some other next level thing XD
Big. If they say it is gonna be bigger, especially since people (including me) complain that it's 2015 and Commonwealth is sort of small for our current gen, pretty sure they just woke up & shifting into next gear..
Yeah this is possible.
Also since humanity screwed the planet, the manufacturing of humanoid-robots makes it so that you can harvest from wherever you want on the planet. Something a lot of people didn't get yet, because the game doesn't "say" it like that outright.
Also lol culture? We'll see, I guess.
Nobody said the Institute was controlling this branch of synths. They could be RR. They could be renegades, independant or from a rogue scientist
As Children of Atom use Gamma guns mainly in vanilla FO4, they will need to move to other types of weaponary in Far Harbor as Synths will not be affected by radiation so much.
My headcanon is that the Children of Atom in the Glowing Sea are either unwitting synths, or they're in the very early stages of ghoulification. It wouldn't surprise me if we found out in Far Harbor.
Calling it now: Children of Atom will get a leveled lists/equipment expansion that applies to all Children, not just the DLC ones, just like the vampires got in Dawnguard. More protective faction apparel, and an expanded arsenal that includes non-radiation based weapons. Maybe some new variants of Plasma weaponry? Or the return of the Microwave Emitter?
Plasma does seem a good option as it's in line with their whole science atom obsession
If it's anything like Point Lookout I expect a painful (Much needed) difficulty spike and lots of sneaking. I hope I can take a companion from the Automatron DLC there.
As long as the difficulty spike isn't just turning everything into bullet sponges!
Children of Atom can cause enough trouble with their damned gamma guns as they are at times lol.
Reminds me of Tau Stealthsuit for a bit, and Andromedon from XCOM ( aside for big daddy ofc ) So I like the design, hope it makes it.
After Point Lookout I'm wary about getting on boats.
CoA + Gamma Gun + Rad-X + Survival Mode = Protagonist overdosed = Dies
lol
We better have a new upgrade to buff up our armor's Radiation resistance.
- letting the player character be the leader of the faction is never good , take the institute for example , most people think it's some kind of super market and when they become the director they donate all food to the peasants , do u want that to happen to the BoS ?
you will access it through a loading screen
- i'm not at all interested in "island" type of dlc's they add nothing , none of your choices matter , your faction doesn't matter , ....meh maybe we will get holstered weapons
I am pretty sure we will read a letter at Valentine Agency.. which will spawn a Boat by the east coast that enables us to travel to the island.
Am I the only one hoping the Sole Survivor loses all his belonging but dogmeat in the storm? (Lost belongings can be found via quest of course)
I want to play new DLC with new items and equipments. I may just go there with nothing in my pocket.
I hate losing my stuff, even if I do get to find it again later. In FO4 I only carry a rifle, a pistol, and a knife. I want to keep them as they fit my PC and play style.
I used to think the same, but I loved FNV Sierra Madre too much
I don't like it either, as much as I like Dead Money's story in New Vegas, the survival was a tad too much for me because I am not that much of a tactical stealth player in any game.
DLC like The Pitt, Zeta, Old World Blues I didn't mind losing my stuff because one, I had easy access to other weapons and two, the difficulty was not as bad as Sierra Madre.
I'm with you. I want new quests for the 4 factions, based of course on how the player resolved the MQ. I just hope they allow player choice for how to resolve faction issues. If I am the Institute, I want options for dealing with the Synth colony other than, shutting them down and taking them back to Boston.
That's what I'm hoping for, I think it's a safe bet you won't be forced into doing anything, it might however effect your standing with a faction. I'm hoping we are going to get at least another dlc on this scale rather than these silly ones like "have a robot pet".
Dammit, it's spreading! Now my head is saying "Pearl Harbor." Now there'd be one hell of a plot twist.

Same. I also keep forgetting it's just Far Harbor, and not The Far Harbor.
I don't think we'll lose our gear when we go to Far Harbor, but I actually like when a DLC does that, at least when it's appropriate. Means you have to make do with what you find, instead of coming to the questline decked out in X-01 Mk VI Power Armor and a Two-Shot Gauss Rifle.
May. The Bethnet article gives a release month for each DLC - Automatron in March, Wasteland Workshop in April, and Far Harbor in May.
