All you have to do is probably read a letter arrived to Valentine Agency to start the quest

No need for Nick or her assistance.

You mean for the Children of Atom, or for the SS?

I am hoping that it isn't going to be like the glowing sea. Although, I have my Lead Sled1 ready to go, I would prefer not to have to wear it all the time.

1. Lead Sled, my Lead Plated T-45F set.

I knew about Harkness, but I never really thought about Danse too. I figured maybe Danse was subbed while they were operating in the Commonwealth. You'll have to forgive my knowledge of the lore in Fallout 4 because although I put in a couple hundred hours and beat the game, the way the gameplay was presented I was more or less turned off and just played it like a corridor shooter.

Thanks for explaining it more!

The way these writers are my guess would be Castle Rock, or maybe Derry :)

I wonder what kind of new weapons and armor we'll get. I'd really love some more gear with a maritime or even piratey vibe to it - maybe they'll finish the harpoon gun model in the game files and turn it into a usable unique weapon. And maybe my dreams of a deep-sea exploration model of power armor will be fulfilled!

I'm sure they'll add a new set of layered armor that the Children of Atom uses, and maybe a new radiation-based weapon. Here's to hoping for more hi-tech weaponry, too.

I'm hoping to get some heavy steam-punk style underwater scuba gear or something. Full on Bioshock style.

Maybe they'll break out that old https://i.redditmedia.com/yzgRZDc4OW6a-hcppYjVnwUN48BTAIcDC0ctq0CURhA.jpg?w=320&s=c1c93dac058f78fafa2592b676563b7b design that kind looks like a diving suit. :woot:

Throw in a harpoon gun to boot and I'd be sold.

they had concept art of various maritime type enemies in the Fallout 4 art-book, I suspect they might be saluaging those ideas

Today on rejected Gundam designs :P

Seriously, looks like something Zeon planned up before throwing it away.

It looks lame, but it's actually a good design when you think about it: your head is much less vulnerable.

Honestly even if it does look kinda lame, I like the design. It's an interesting change up from what we already have and seeing how we could've modded it would've been interesting. I do kinda hope it returns so we get more diverse designs in power armor.

I am sure we can bring our newly acquired items, weapons and power armors to the original common wealth..

but I also wonder if we will be able to bring any new companion from the harbor to the commonwealth.

.....I also need to know if we can take dogmeat to the Far Harbe !! :ahhh:

Well, the Dogmeat is on the cover art so I think he at least is a safe bet.

And more old-world hi-tech sort of weaponry, like the Laser Musket. I certainly wouldn't mind a pistol-form of the laser musket, that I can mod into a post-nuclear pirate blunderbuss. Maybe a Plasma Blunderbuss that cranks similarly to the Laser Musket?

I wonder if Far Harbor has any tribals, like on the west coast or point lookout. Nothing in the info we have mentions it, so right now I'm thinking no, but it would still be nice.

Dogmeat is last gen, I'm gonna build my own KLEO to bring to far harbour.

I presume this is going to be a very short quest for us BoS types.

For those interested, here's a map showing the likely location of Far Harbor in relation to Boston, as well as the location of most named areas from past Fallout games

I love it just because it looks so different. So odd and almost alien.

A far cry from the usual SPACE MAHREEENS style of PA. :P

Its kinda refreshing.

Synth colony: Obliterate.

Children of Atom: Terminate.

Local townspeople: Vassalize.

Huh. maybe we'll get the ability to just nuke the island?

Sounds great to me.

As for gear and weapons, harpoon guns and old timey deep sea diving suits would be nice. Also, some kind of a mod for PA to move in water.

That's one of the storylines I'd really like to see continued.

It looks like hazmat-PA for a researcher or a worker. Yeah, kinda nice.

I'm a bit curious about the conflict between townspeople, synths, and children of atoms. While human lives are more important, depending on the factions, my Institute file may side with the synths while the BoS may side with the townspeople. Children of atoms should just die in a ditch somewhere. Won't have a file for those scumbags Railroad and the Minutemen is basically BoS with those scumbags gone.

I do hope we get to do something as the Institute faction though, maybe surveying the lands or establish research area. It would be cool if we could make settlements for the Institute, maybe having coursers as guards.

They also said the DLC will add new high level armour + weapons, that's pretty exciting. Here's hoping for the return of stealthsuit, albeit i hope it looks a bit different. I also hope the DLC is Lovecraftian in nature.
