Let the player have some (political) power!

So you can be a crap king or a bored king. And they still have to dramatically extend the release date.

I'm not so sure about that. how do you know that you know the only two ways this can be experienced? and that bethesda's team of professionals can't think of a good way to implement this?

and as for the release date, I assume if they were going to implement this they would of already had it in mind when they announced the release date.

EDIT: for the record. i don't really want to be King of Skyrim, but i do want some management tools when i am the head of certain guilds... or when i build my own town.

No, I do not want to be king! I don't want any political power. I want to be the heroine that comes into play when I'm needed. And after I've finished the main quest, I want to go about my normal life.
