Folks we just don't know for sure what the imperial is and until B breaks it down for us and explains it to us all this torch burning and pitch fork toting wont help anything but get people upset when in reality we don't have all the facts. Lets at least let them explain it to us before you start burning them with torches.

I am sure that they know of the outcry here but hopefully the admins will forward the concerns of the community so we can get a little more clarity, so until then lets take a breath and just see what happens

It would be nice. But as stated by Mods of the forums the likely-hood of Zenimax employee's posting in the forum is going to be kept to a minimum, if nothing at all.

It would be nice if they actually did start answering some questions, and put some concerns that the community has to rest. I'm very doubtful myself, but if they could take the time out of the busy schedule to answer some questions, I'm sure it would be very much appreciated by pretty much everyone, and put some of these absurd concerns to rest.

I don't see how you can be upset about something that you do not have any information on except a very vague description, doesn't make any sense. So what your saying is that you mad but you dont know why your mad because you dont have all the info or your mad because you dont have all the ino lo. What do you mean temp forums? are you talking in relation that people don't have access to the beta boards or something? I think it was a smart move on their part to close the beat boards when the sessions were done, lord knows i have seen too many beta boards get thrown way out of what by totally useless posts.

As did i... but iam a svcker for CE's i have boxs here at the house with stuff in them i have never even taken out, have the swtor box with the guy in it around here somewhere lol. Honestly i just like the in game goodies, 90 percent of the time you will get a mount and that is really all i find useful the rest of the stuff you get mostly just takes up inv space or is useless after say lvl 10 or 15, like xp bonus items and such.

iam sure there will be some kind of press release or a comment by a mod that found the skinny out.

Imperial is a unique race. Like all races, it will have unique powers that players can only have if they pay for them.

Imperial Edition = P2W in a subscription-based game.

granted I have no interest in playing an imperial and my three most favorite races is in the dominion, so I don't pay $20 for a horse

If I for some reason will want to play an imperial I can buy one at the cash shop for around $20.

Folks, I've just sent half a dozen posts in this thread to trash. Don't insult other members. It's against the forum rules and will lead to posting suspension and warnings being handed out. How members feel about the game is none of my business. The manner in which those views are expressed and the differences of opinion carried out are.

I have not found any documentation about Imperial racial traits. Is it stated somewhere that's publicly accessable?

I wondered how Devs will handle this, but until there is some tangible evidence I'm not going to worry about it much.

Unless it's the only race out of ten races that don't get unique powers - that's going to be the case.

Let's just say I'd bet real money on them getting exactly the same kind of powers as the other races. Game breaking? No. Unique and offering in-game advantages? Yes.

Nothing has been listed yet but if we look at the other races i would guess they will be along the same lines. Will be different but nothing out of the ordinary, but really i dont think it matters what they are at this point some people won't be happy.

But that can be said about ALL the other races lol. So your admitting that there is no advantage from one race to another and that you think they will be along the same lines at the others. So why are you so adamant about it......

Why does everyone automatically assume that Imperials will have passive racial skills that'll be so goddamned much better than the rest?

People have been kvetching from day 1 on this forum, about wanting to have Imperials, and not wanting racial segregation into alliances. Now ZOS has caved to those demands, lets not argue over why on this thread, but now people are kvetching that ZOS 'catered to demands' ... because it's not like they're trying to make a product that sells...

Let's try explaining it this way:

It's not about getting an advantage over other RACES but other PLAYERS (you have something power-related they don't have) - it's about IN-GAME advantages, meaning it's not just cosmetic. When you give people IN-GAME advantages (unless you don't think a power is an actual advantage - meaning it's 100% useless) for money, you have a P2W scenario.

It's not a literal concept and it never was. Actually paying to WIN the game is just the concept at its most extreme.

There is NO ADVANTAGE lol why is that so hard for you to realize, as you stated in another post all of the races are different none better none worse and you said it would probably be the same with the imperials, in that rational that means from your own words that they are NOT better or OP and you are NOT paying to win....... and honestly we have no idea what the racials for them are at the moment so all this is a moot point until they release some info.
