I'd love to but I don't even know how to scale in the Character Editor. It doesn't freakin work as it did in SB2 :s

Makes me wish i had more map making skills, lol everything i make will probably look a bit blocky. I do like how you can walk around the stuff you're making in a split second.

deathxxxhippie - mapping in SB3 is more assembling the components that crytek has provided. Its 90-95% mesh work. Drag and drop. you will have to use brushes for clipping and some other stuff but it really is just dropping meshes on the map. If you tried mapping with an ID Tech based game please give SB3 a chance. Do the tutorials and get involved on crymod.com . Its easy to get started in SB3 and the results will be amazing. Now its more about having a great idea for gameplay then it is about brush work.

Right on man, it seems like something that could be fun if i gave it a chance. Last game i made any maps in was Mysteries of the sith i think, so it's been some years.

If Maldo can get his texture pack working with v1.9, which I think may be possible now with the release of the mod tools, then the game is going to look insanely awesome.

Also we need Real Lifesis. It would make Crysis 2 the best looking game by a long way(Maybe even better than BF3)

I waited this future long time, but after patch 1.9 i dont care any more, because multiplayer totally unplayable now (stupid mega contrast and low fps just killed this game). Epic fail.

Hi guys,

Sorry to close the thread (it didn't violate any major rules), but please make sure to use our official modding portal for all such discussions.

http://www.crymod.com is the place to be for all things modding related. You can find help and tips on using the editor, written documentation showing you how to create maps and other assets, and it's a great place to share all of your work with other editor users.

Thanks.
