A Telekinesis spell that when used to throw objects at people "the damage done = Object Weight x Alteration Level / 3 + what type of Object it was.."
would really make my "only weapon is throwing stuff at people" build Viable..
Create a magical wall to act as an obstacle to enemies. Completely blocks all magic and arrows till it is destroyed[strength determined by spell level/skill] or expired.
Variation on the stoneskin spell. Cast on touch. Decreases all physical damage taken by 50%, except for in the case of hammers. Hammers deal 100% more damage.
Is that... is that even really useful? Sure, you can use it to buff up allies and debuff enemies if you're packing hammers, but...would anyone use that? I don't know, it's the first thing that popped into my head.
The Ability to unlock chests and move distant levers and switches. I may be a bit resentful about having to use lockpicks
EDIT Levitation, Alterationists should not need bucket exploits to move through the Aethers.
