lets NOT have six!

Post » Sat Nov 21, 2009 6:06 am

As you may know, many games are letting you "get romantic" with npc's. so do you think skyrim introduce six with companions and prosttutes or keep it out the game? Personally i think six shouldn't be included, and if it is, limit six with only prosttutes, and I'm really only bringing this topic up cause i saw some other topic called "romance" like seriously I'ma guy I'm playing a game where you kill people and bite their face off! you want romancy stuff! go watch twilight!

ahhh whats with the yellow!?!?! burns my eyes...

yeah i think i agree. we don't need six in the game, it doesn't add anything IMO. Virtual six seems... pathetic to me.

insinuating six however is different.

I don't see the point of this topic. I give Skyrim credit that they don't have to go into the gutter to attract some fringes of society.

Let's NOT write in big yellow TEXT?

IMO, it doesn't hurt if it's there, an additional feature for immersion. But I won't miss it if it's not there.

BTW, don't you think TES games are a bit more than 'killing people'? That's more like Call of duty or something.

Edit: I'm such a slow typer...

you know what your right, bethesda should just cut out all the killing in skyrim and just make so you talk to people!

BioWare and Bethesda make completely different types of games. I loved the romances in Dragon Age II. I'm not sure I'd want something similar in Skyrim, though. The PC's relationship with NPCs has never been a focal point of Elder Scrolls game.

But what will all those 'Please let me change bust size' and 'I want the chicks to look HOT' types do for kicks? I mean, these lonely folk need to get their rocks off somehow!
Seriously though, six and relationships would ruin TES. And as for Adjustable Boob Sizes and Hot costumes for female NPCs....I mean really? Are these people frickin' real?

I actually think some of the sixual themes should stay, even if just to a Morrowind standard. It just makes the world seem alive and realistic, imo.

But actual six.. I wouldn't miss it, but it doesn't hurt. As long as it's not immature, ala Fable. And not the kind of "eye diverting awkwardness" that I've seen in many media (hard to avoid. especially when it's virtual).

Oh, and I'm not fond of the overly... detailed stuff... If you know what I mean...

The closest thing to six I'd like to see is an orc at the tavern telling me the barmaid is a fine lay

Hmm. "Many many many games" seems like a just a bit of an overstatement.

But, yeah, this isn't one of those games.

Why are people even still making topics about this? We pretty much KNOW that BGS wouldn't put this in, so why are we worried that it will happen? I think the overwelming demographics says no and it doesn't add anything, and BGS knows that.

What about when you get caught stealing and go to prison? What happens when Olaf the burly Nord asks you to pick up the soap?

hahaha I think experiencing [censored] in a videogame would attract a lot of bad press. scary to think about though.

I liked the brothel in Suran. I'm fine with romantic and sixual themes in stories, environments and conversations, but actual actions? Better not. That would only end awkward.

It should only be in the game to serve a purpose within the story. For example in FNV
Spoiler
You could kill Benny by sleeping with him and then killing him in his sleep afterwards
, there should only be a few instances of this in the game though, if any.

I don't need to see my character having six, but it wouldn't hurt to have six(ual stuff) in the game. It adds to the realism and fun of the game, if done right, and gives more role play options, after all this is a RPG.

For example I really loved that bordel in Morrowind, it added to a realistic atmosphere and I found it really funny when I got there the first time.

A bordel in a dirty quarter of a harbour town is almost a must.

It's a waste of programming time and resources and would freak a lot of people out because of the uncanny valley and because there are frickin lizard people. Also would give it a very high rating and parents would hear "this game has six with cats in it" and definitely avoid letting their kid ever get a hold of it.

Your sarcasm would be more in place if you have read what I wrote. Here, I'll mark it for you:

BTW, don't you think TES games are a bit more than 'killing people'?

It does make more sense in the Fallout world, but not TES. They are different worlds at very different times.

Why? I often read that 'it is not TES', but actually it is because more mature themes were present in previous games.

Yep. Exactly. Books too, if you didn't count them in stories.

If you actually look into the lore, Tamriel is quite a dirty place. Just look at Vivec. Killing with his... bits. (Granted, it's a forum debate)
