the thalmor successfully root out all talos worship and finish this little plan of theirs

as i understand this plan basically comes down to undoing the initial creation which traps them as mortals, yes?


so if they manage all this, what happens then? does the world implode and they all become free spirits floating around where ever?

or just tamriel?

would any of the other continents be affected since everything seems to be based around tamriel?

They just made the universe in it's totality to never exist. Aurbis-from-Godhead spins into a spiral of subgradience until nothing else exists.

I don't believe they can do it. It's propaganda, meant to instill fear and awe.

The Thalmor got their start b.sing everyone into thinking they stopped the Oblivion Crisis. What makes anyone think they've stopped the lying? I think they are a military threat, but that's it. Kind of like the Nazis were a real military threat - but all of their kooky mysticism and ideals about a thousand year reign were just ways of making them seem more awesome than they were. The Thalmor do the same thing. "We're capable of undoing the entire universe!" Yeah, right.

If they would be able to undo their mortality, they would do it. But I doubt they have the means to actually successfully remove Talos all together.
It's most likely propaganda to make it easier for them to take what they want, when they want.

That said, it's not unlikely as well that they would be able to.

For the record, if you take the Monomyth seriously, they've more or less wanted to unmade the world forever. If anyone ever did figure out how to do it, it would be the Thalmor. Tapping into the Eye of Magnus might be a good start.
