If someone hacked PSN and got our personal info, and someone has now hacked Anon, couldnt that person get Anon members info and tell the authorities?

Doesn't the PS3 version of LA Noire have exclusive content? Hopefully PSN is turned back on by the 17th.

Not that I've heard of, It was originally rumored to be a PS3 exclusive.

I thought it was getting an exclusive mission. I could be wrong, but i'll see what I can find.

Sony doesn't respect Rockstar since they betrayed us; gta4 dlc & now Rockstar does whatever the little they can to support Sony.

What a bunch of nerds.

Oh the irony.
Hackers Hacked. Anonymous, the group believed responsible for the security breach at Sony Online Entertainment, and the PS Network have been targeted and hacked themselves.

Do you guys still think Anon is just some underground hacking group? They aren't.

No, that means Sony has signed a contract and can just include people for a free year of identity theft protection if they apply.

That's true, but sadly the PS2 doesn't work well with a HDTV, so it looks crap unless I run it through a PS3, which of course I can't do now.

Really? My PS2 hooked up with component cables looks just about the same as it did with my original PS3 via HDMI. PS3 had a slightly sharper image.

I've always been on a 32" HDTV though, which is fairly small. I suppose if you're on a larger TV its upscaling may help.

I can see the difference on my even smaller 26" inch TV. It's especially bad with 2D elements, let alone PSX games.

I suppose it has been almost a year now since my launch PS3 died on me. Still been playing all my PSX games on the Slim.

Either way, I miss the convenience of having everything in one handy box. :meh:

Yeah, letting the PS3 do the upscaling of lowres PS1 & PS2 games is much better than letting the TV do the work.

Yeah, it would be nice to see a new PS3 model with PS2 BC. You know, one that doesn't YLOD :P

Doubt it.
I just don't care anymore. PSN will be back up when it will be back up, and that's just about all there is to it.

Well I have plenty of games now since I signed up for the Pro membership at gamestop. I didn't think it was worth it at first, but it was! haha. So I am content with playing Metal gear 4, Red Dead Redemption, Drake's Fortune, the black ops campaign, God of War 1 and 2, Lair with my girlfriend's 9 year old brother, and Tekken 6 with my girlfriend. She says its really the only video game she likes (she button mashes...).

If PSN is not up by the time I beat all of those games...... oh man....

Probably from all the people who just found out that PS3 actually has an online service. :P

I mean, they never really bothered to advertise it, did they?
