Found a letter to Sapphire in Solstheim. So I thought that "ofcourse" you could show her the letter, but all she says is "I have no business with you so get out of my face"

I think you have to confront Mallory the blacksmith first.

I've never had her snap at me.

Found out how to fix it:

resetquest freeformriften22

setstage freeformriften22 10

This fixes the quest so Shadr will talk to you again, enabling the quest that opens dialogue with Sapphire.

She has never snapped at me, must be that I gave her the letter before becoming guild master.

The letter also respawns *hint hint*

I was guild master and she never snapped at me. The guy already fixed it.

You may also have to finish the bonemold formula quest for Glover Mallory first, but I'm not positive on this.

My problem is that I cannot find her to give her the letter. I went back to Riften (I'm Guildmaster) and couldn't find her anywhere, not the Ratway, Ragged Flaggon, Cistern or the Bee and Barb.

Is completing the bone mold formula quest and finding the letter supposed to trigger any quest with Sapphire? Because I got no quest marker or anything.

It is not a quest. But you do get the dialogue. Carmen if you search wiki find sapphires ID, then use the command "player.placeatme ID"
