Just seen an Xbl insider video and the player was level 58... I thought it was capped at 50?

Soft cap of 75, may be able to get past that, not sure about the math though.

Leveling up after 50 is extremely slowed, or something to that degree. Actual level cap is somewhere in the 70's.

there is no level cap. If you get all the abilities to level 100, its about level 80 you finish at. Its just that theres an acheivment for level 50

Levelling slows at Level 50. I believe the highest level that can possibly be achieved is Level 81.

I'm close to 58 and I've recieved them all the way.

As for leveling being slower, I havent noticed that much. On the other hand, I've leveled from high skill levels lately and they atleast look to affect the general level bar more. I'm still a lvl 20 in pickpocketing and whatnot so I count on having 2-3 more easy general levels ahead of me. You can speed things up even more by training but it's not that much fun when 5 training sessions cost 20 000, which they do on expert to master level.

Good to know, thanks.

one last question... They say that leveling gets harder as you go on, Is that simply because skills get harder to increase or do u require more skill ups per level up now?

i ask this because i cant find it stating anywhere how many skill ups a level up takes and after starting a new character to count just now, i've only had 3 skill ups at lvl 1 and it shows as half way to lvl up. meaning from lvl 1 to lvl 2 takes 6 skill ups....

Anyone else noticed this?

Levelling is harder after 50...ish due to having to use non-levelled skills in order to continue your character levelling. Once the skills you use reach 100 you cannot gain any more levels if you ONLY use them. So instead of bashing everything with your maxed out dual wield swords or destruction magic you switch to a weapon/magic type that is low level and less effective. Also bear in mind that your armor type will be maxed out by then too so no gaining character xp running around in your pimped heavy armor anymore for example.

Its variable. The higher the skill increase, the more valuable it is for leveling.

Skill 99-100 is more valuable than 15-16.
