I'm not going to herald the end of the world and just rage all up in here on ragahol but my favorite aspect in rpg's is character specialization and having some weakness so I'm not some action hero who can do everything.

But a level 50 cap, I think you would max all skills even before you reach it. Unless they shake up the leveling system in some way to accommodate the new levels? Who knows.

Not really worried about it; I kind of like being a god sometimes.

Besides, you could always start over.

I really hope they add new perks though.

Each DLC will raise the level cap by 5. So including Dead Money, if you've got them all, you'll have a cap of 50.

From the general DLC boards.
Go look.

Not affected.

They really have to mend the XP gains though for console players if they want the level cap to actually take some work to get there.

Would be possible with a 50 cap to get every skill to 100?

I think the game is already easy enough. I was glad Obsidian made it harder to level up in New vegas, because in FO3 it was ridiculous. But now the game is going to be a walk in the park.

Awesome, this Very hard pyro build is starting to irritate me. Thankfully I won't need to make a new character.

However, should we go to fifty, I would like to see better enemies to compensate for the increased level cap.

Bah. This is what the masses need to see their exp. meter fill up in order to feel a sense of "game progression" leads to.
Well whatever, it doesn't affect me on my PC at least.

They really have to mend the XP gains though for console players if they want the level cap to actually take some work to get there.

Perhaps they will. But I kinda doubt it.

Someone had better check my math, but I get 65 in each Skill with 10 INT and Educated; if we assume Skill Books in each DLC along with Comprehension, it comes out to 97 in each. That's just raw points. With Intensive Training, Tag! and implants getting 100 in every skill will be a breeze.

That'll be fun once, I guess.

Well it's that or just ramp up the XP base in general.

The good thing about ramping up XP base is that you keep your level, even if you're way off from it. So if you're level 30, with like 50k XP, then you change the XP base so that the next level requires 140k XP, you'll still be level 30 when you really shouldn't. Win-Win? Maybe.

Since that I hate to still play with the same character all over again (ruins the Role Play aspect IMO) I will create news characters again, but again, not worried too much about it, my level cap is still at 20, Sometimes is good to have a PC, right guys?

All I have to say is at level 35 in t45d pa I am almost indestructable . So by level 50 I ll have over 500hp easy. That means they needs to add insane high hp NPCs

Im talking fo3 reaver hp, super mutant overlord hp, fo3 Point Lookout tribal hp, and they didn t really even have armour.

It will be fine as long as they add enemies that can take as much or more punishment than me. Right now only the feared Deathclaw and Lanius can stand up to my level 35 walking tank. My level 50 walking tank will be the Uber God of all Uber Gods unless we see some 750 hp NPCs . IMO

Enemies dont scale in NV

That will have to change. Or the edition of high hp NPCs will be needed. Deathclaws will even need more hp by level 50.

I ll be able to beat them to death with a shovel and 40 melee I ll have so many more hp than them.
