Level 50+ dwellers caused game crash

Post » Tue Feb 23, 2016 4:05 pm

Just tested by sending a level 52 dweller to the wasteland, game crashed in a few seconds.

Adjusted the clock back one hours and was able open it again. Checked the wasteland and the LVL 52 dweller just found 25 caps. I recalled the dwellers and collected it. The game was saved.

Bethesda is very bad in this case, it is quite obvious that the crash was cause by the level 50+, but instead of fixing the problem, they blame the players for changing the time. If I can find the problem out by the above test, Bethesda can find it too.

Don't forget the "level 50+ dweller" is created by Bethesda in the December update. They do not test and make sure no bug before launching the update.

Mr Handy is also a cause of crash, though this one is not fatal.

When the player is working on something while the Mr Handy collecting at the same time, it may crash.

I was opening a lunchbox this morning hearing a sound od mr handy collecting power, then it crash. I get back to the vault but the lunchbox is lost.

I do not see why anyone would really send a "super dweller" level 50 plus out to the wasteland, rather then using it as a guard for death claws. If you level up your exploring dwellers correctly and send out to the wasteland with decent gear, the dwellers should max out and return without dying.

I am in the process of making "super dwellers" in my vault since I just received a continious pet to create them. Based on what I have read in the forums, as long as the "super dwellers" do not go out in the wasteland, my vault should not crash. (I will create a backup just in case)

I decided to start with a level 1 dweller from the wasteland who has special E3 and the remaining 9 points spread out. I then trained the dweller to E10 remaining at level 1. At this point, I am currently leveling the dweller in the wasteland to 50. Once at level 50, I will then start to train each special stat with a continous pet to max stats. This should create the stongest "super dweller" possible if I am correct (taking into consideration the Endurance/Health leveling issue).

Anyone have any suggestions, thoughts or verified 50 plus dwellers are stronger? I hope I am not wasting my time creating a "super dweller" which is just a glorified level 50.

I've got one at level 61...wish I'd read this post before I sent him out! I can't get into the game at all now. Any ideas what I can do? I'll submit a help desk ticket now...

Seems they're not so good at keeping on top of bugs

Question: Does this also effect dwellers you kick out of the vault or just dwellers you send out to explore?
