So I'm looking to really change things up with Skyrim for a while. Someone had posted about their adventures as a perpetual level 1 character and it seemed interesting. I've delved into it for a while, but became disenfranchised at the thought of not being able to do many of the major side quests. But now with mods, I am able to circumvent that little problem.
Major mods I have running:
USKP (for main and DLC)
Basic Needs
Frostfall
Timing is Everything (sets/removes level requirement for daedric quests, player home requirements, etc)
Uncapper
Train 100x per level (so I can train skills 100 times. Choose wisely!)
Deadly Dragons (this may change, but I don't plan on facing dragons for a LONG time)
Interesting NPCs
Enhanced Skyrim Factions - Companions (so I can do many more radiant quests to gain strength)
Ultimate Follower Overhaul
Many other small mods that make minor changes for an overall more fun experience.
Race: Nord
Class: Spellsword
Difficulty: Master
No Crafting (this may change if the game proves too challenging, but I can improve items to fine for a bit of a boost)
My gear includes heavy gauntlets and boots, college robes, and eventually a circlet of magicka (currently novice hood). My main weapon is currently a fine steel sword, augmented with magic. Main spells currently include: Sparks, Oakflesh, Fury, Conjure Familiar, and Healing.
I'll be running with a crew of two. Right now I've got http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p117/arkanSTFU/faendal_zpsfa66c878.jpg andhttp://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p117/arkanSTFU/Uthgerd_zpsc12db074.jpg. Here we are http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p117/arkanSTFU/kuldaharsgroup_zps7cb54eae.jpg. I'm going to try to keep them alive for as long as possible, but if they meet their fate, I will mourn them and move one and recruit some other companions.
So far, the going has been fairly easy. I've done several bounty quests. I've really only run into wolves and bandits thus far, but the couple of bandit chiefs I've encountered have been brutal. Being level 1 really makes those potions of health worth it. Luckily I've found a staff of zombies so I can "recruit" some help with tougher foes. So far, even battles involving bandit outlaws have been exhilarating!
Speaking of tougher foes, I foresee falmer being incredibly tough, as will be dwemer spheres (to say nothing of centurions!) I'm going to need to really strategize in places, and use every tool at my disposal.
I will update with progress along the way. Wish me luck!
