That's possibly why, just go on a NCR Crusade and massacre every town in the game.

I have the same problem - roaming the wastes (at level 35) but with nothing to kill. Despite being vilified, no hit squads come after me. It's getting kind of boring - try to kill me dammnit!

Just locate every location and clear them as you go, I hit 30 LOOOOONG before I ran out of stuff to kill and I was positive karma (even though killing most people in the game will net you no negative karma) and the only big group that disliked me was Caesar's Legion.

You're just not looking hard enough.

If you've cleared all the actual map locations (something like 180) go look for the unmarked Deathclaw Promontory on the East Bank of the Colorado.

I'm pretty sure you can't reach Caesar without at least dealing with Benny and thus getting the "invitation"...eg the raft/boat won't work until then.

You can kill CL at Nelson and Cotton Cove.

Go to Thorn and start Bleed me dry.

The Fiends by the South Vegas Ruins respawn every 3 days. Also if you know how to mod on a PC/360 then you can drop enemies like Super Mutants to make it a little more fun. :flamethrower:

In the western end of Red rock canyon, there's a trail between some rocks that leads to poop-ton of cazadors.

Lvl 20? I just hit Lvl 34 and there is more things to shoot than I have bullets. Do this...

1) Try to complete all side quests

2) Hit up the Quarry, Deadwind Cavern, and Deathclaw Promontory

3) Try to find all locations (chase that empty triangle)

4) Go to the fort and kill everything (No kids or slaves)

5) Head north from Goodsprings Cemetery, and into the valley. (Bring anti-poison and stims)

6) Set up shop in Fiend land (north of the strip) and snipe every jet-head out there.

7) Find all the unique weapons, armor, and everything between.

See, there is lots to do to level up. I have yet to touch any of the main quests or DLC. I have got to level 34 via killing and side quests. Well, good luck and happy gaming. :foodndrink:

glad a lot of others notice the lack of combat besides me, the game is lacking in combat, especially as we level up, if they don't fix with this with a future dlc its gonna be a big blunder, the game is pretty fun but it needs more enemy patrols and more enemy encounters as we level up, especially human type enemies but i sure hope they put out a dlc that breathes some new life into the game at higher levels.

I agree that there should be more hit squads, like there were in the Capitol Wasteland. But, I've already wiped out The Fort and Cottonwood Cove, so I'd imagine they gave up on assassinating me.

Fiend hunting is usually what I do to waste time. I like to go at 'em with different weapons each time. I might have a snipe fest one time, and then come back with a minigun or shotgun. Sometimes I use fiends as grenade/dynamite practice, to get my trajectory down.

Anyone else feel that there is a pitiful number of CL in the game. You have fort, cotton woood cove, nelson and the ending and thats it? It would be better if the number of legionaries in the Mojave doubled because at the moment CL feels like less a threat and the brotherhood.

Near Jacobstown there is plenty of Big Horners to shoot and watch hilariously fall down the hills. Never pick up 200 year old eggs again!

Could "Cleanse" some areas and get some bodies launching them on a space mission with enough C4.

Fistfighting entire towns rocks.

While I'll agree there could definitely be more roaming enemies (especially more Legion troops and tougher, more dangerous ones). There are plenty of places to go and kill things.

I GUARANTEE you will max out level before you clear every location.

Try http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38623 mod. It will help to add more life to your wasteland. More faction patrols, more population in towns, just increased enemy/npc spawns in general. You can leave it default or also include the low/med/high modules to set the level of spawns.

Yeah that mod is great....but of course it only works if you have the game on PC, which many here don't, I think.

And I agree that the wastelands is bit too empty. The mod can actually fill it up with more than the average person may want, but the 'core' mod is about right perhaps, for the general player. There's just so much empty space in the game....it's ok on a 1st playthru but after a while...

If you're bored, why not finish the game and start over?

Starting over will solve lots of these problems.

1) There will be tons of stuff to kill.
2) You can get vilified again (and chased by a hit squad).
3) Lost of other stuff will try to kill you.
4) You won't be bored. If you are, play a different game.

But I'm sure this is wasted finger movement. Nobody likes logic. Or truth, for that matter.

i agree, but the game does need some tweaking, this can easily be fixed with a dlc, a lot of people notice the lack of combat also, so i sure hope they breathe a little more life into the base game at some point before its too late, maybe have a few more CL, NCR and raider patrols here and there, especially along the highways, most of the map is fine, i know every spot can't have enemies, but a little more sense of danger in some areas i think would be pretty cool, especially as we level up, maybe after level 20 or something.

the game just came out a few months ago and they are planning several more dlc, so it doesn't make sense this early in the games life to not liven it up a bit for higher level players, the first 20 levels or so are ok, but for higher levels like after level 20 the map needs a bit more in it, and with a few more dlcs they obviously want people continuing to play the game so i wouldn't be suprised if there is gonna be a future dlc that add some content to the base game.
