I just bought all the DLC for New Vegas, and I was wondering if there are any level requirements or any particular order they should be done in? My friend told me that Old World Blues and Dead Money tie in together, so I want to make sure I do them all in the right order to get a clearer picture of the story

From a chronilogical perspective, as in, what happened first, the events at Big MT (OWB) happened before the events at Sierra Madre (Dead Money). I personally played it as HH -> OWB -> DM -> LR. If I could change the past, I would do it exactly the same. I should note I played HH at Level 6 on hardcoe, Hard difficulty. I don't regret it. :) It made the experience that much more real. I suggest you do similar. Otherwise, simply go the way they were released. (DM -> HH -> OWB -> LR). I would suggest, wherever possible, to play Lonesome Road last.

Playing LR last is a must. There's no debating this. You CAN play it first, but it would ruin the story for you, if it's the first time you play through. I personally reccomend playing them as they were released just to get the fully modded Holorifle from Dead Money ASAP.

I play them in this order.

HH -> DM -> OWB -> LR

Honest Hearts just seems to fit first as it gives you very little info about Ulysses. Then Dead Money before Old World Blues as you learn about Big MT in the Sierra Madre, then obivously Lonesome Road last as it wraps things up.

Although either Dead Money or Honest Hearts can be done first it's best to do the rest in order. It also helps to explore most of the main game first as some of its people and places tie into the DLC.



Old World Blues must be done after Dead Money otherwise your Courier will ask a lot of stupid questions during Dead Money, and, as already pointed out, Lonesome Road is the big finish of the DLC story arc.

And don't worry about level requirements, just bump up the skills you've used most often so far and toughen up to the point where you can take hits.
