thanks

If you are not using many mods, then I reccommend OOO. Whilst it may be hard to run alongside other mods, it has a hell of a lot more content than Frans.

There are also MMM and Armentarium complete friendly patches for it, while adding those to Frans requires an FCOM install.

What? No. MMM and Armamentarium install just fine with Frans. It's OOO and Frans that don't play nice together. If you want both of those, then you have to do an FCOM install.

I think you'll find Armentarium doesn't really play well with Frans, it all goes a bit squiffy, MMM I'm not so sure about but I don't recall and independant Fran-friendly version.

Whether you use overhauls or not, if it's level of opponents you might encounter, take a look at 'http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1293440-relz-dll-dynamic-leveled-lists-thread-7/'. Works with pretty much anything. And the author has been talking about the possibility of leveling items too in a future release.

Edit: And you might want to check out the thread 'http://www.gamesas.com/topic/820948-scaling-overhaul-comparison/'.

No, I can assure you I my current load order for the last several months is built around Frans+MMM with Armamentarium. You have to follow the install instructions for each of those mods. Frans and MMM installers both have specific options for installing to a Frans+MMM setup. All you have to do is follow the prompts. I can see how Armamentarium would be confusing based on the read-me. There's a comment about not being fully supported or something other, but that links to a different file altogether, not under corePC's control. I promise you I use the regular version with no problems at all.

However, I don't want this to descend into an argument, so I won't say any more.

I decided to go with Franz because it seemed like easy to install and fairly decent as well.
