A perfect mix, such as specific dungeons that hold strong enemy's and item's like the daedric ruins in morrowind.

Id like so that i can find the greatest weapon in the game at lvl1 but then again the dungeons watchers should be hard enough for me to think of waiting to lvl up

My take on leveled creatures and items? Depends on the implementation, but generally I think it's a bad idea. Levelscaling items and creatures does not support building up your character and thus it takes weight off of a significant gameplayfeaure.

Whatever, they do, I don't want to see Daedric anything on some random bandit - ever! Morrowind got it right in this respect. There were like two max sets of Daedric armor in the main game, and finding a piece was happily epic.

not too hot and not too cold is always the best solution.

having strong boss like monsters and hordes of lesser creature is always great, also having the quest related NPCs level with you is a good thing, if done right, example instead of making a level 50 clan fear, you will face 5 level 15 clan fears and 3 level 20 hungers or something, more monsters on screen is always better than an HP sponge.

challenge is very important in any game, you must have places you can not go to if you are level 1 and amazing epic loot at the end of a long dungeon.

leveled quest items is a [censored] idea that should be scraqed on the spot, their should be "low" level quests that give average rewards and "high" level quests that give epic rewards, put a level requirement on some quests its not that horrible to imagine, many games use it.

leveled rewards are just plain bad, if you can imagine another solution for them go for it, its not like my idea is uber.

challenge in the game should come in the form of combat and magic and stealth and NOT WHO HAS MORE HP WINS.

The main quest should probably be scaled.
And whatever (unique) weapons/armor etc you get on the main quest should be scaled according to your level, so every time you level up, it increases in strength.

I don't mind some degree of scaling outside of the main quest. But certain areas should not be scaled, and the run of the mill bandit shouldn't be running around in top of the line armor.

I especially don't like leveled items because it makes everything seems alot less special. I like having things leveled when your at a low level so that you don't accidentally run into a troll in your first dungeon but I think when you reach a certain plateau everything should be set.

Edit: wow, I'm obviously bitter about something or other today. Rereading the OP, it's not that loaded at all, and my post comes across as quite aggressive. Sorry about that. I'll leave it as a warning about the dangers of not enough coffee.

/edit

That's a pretty loaded poll, don't you think? I mean, you could just as easily switch

"Yes, I like the fact that I always have a challenge no matter who I'm facing. (Creatures)"

with

"Yes, I prefer never to face a particularly difficult challenge and get in over my depth. I should sometimes be forced to drink a health potion, but never be in any real danger of dying. (Creatures)"

or

"Yes, I think it makes sense that the fauna of Skyrim depends only on my level - a believable game world is just so overrated. (Creatures)"

Just 'yes' or 'no' would lead to a more enlightened discussion, you can always outline your own position in the first post.
