HOW DOES THE LEVELING UP SYSTEM WORK IS IT LIKE COD WHERE YOU START FROM LEVEL 1-50

AND AFTER YOU REACH THE HIGHEST LEVEL IS THERE A PRISTEGE MODE

Ok,

1) That button that says caps lock on your keyboard, hit it.

2) Leveling is from 1-20. However this is not like CoD. It is more like an rpg. You create a character and you level him to 20. If you want to level again, you create another character and level that up to 20. There is no prestige mode.

I'm not too sure about a prestige mode but I do know that each characters max level is 20. You can also have up to 10 characters.

This also you can't unlock all the abilities with one character.

This, and you can make up to 10 chaacters at one time, and yes, you can delete characters.

Its a one to twenty system. Acts more like an RPG
INFACT its more like borderlands than any other FPS.

I doubt prestige is in atm.

How ever personally I wouldnt mind if it was added in a dlc, Its a nice way of luring people back time after time.

There is no persteige nor will there ever be.

Once you max out your characters level you continue playing with him, when/if you want, you can make another character that starts at level 0, you can make a new character any time you want, you can have up to 10 characters at a time, and you can delete characters, freeing up a slot so you can make another character.

Saying that there will never be prestige is a bit out of your league mate

Personally I've not seen any mention by a dev that its something they would never consider for the future.

In any case, Personally Im hoping for the posibility of more lvls being added over time.

While the 10 slots x 20 lvls will keep me busy for a while, I do eventually fill em

Im glad there is no prestige and you can't unlock all of the abilities. It makes your characters unique!

There IS prestige mode though.

Not like CoD prestige, but once you're at level 20, you can move onto a new character, but you'll still have access to all your unlocked customisation options, AND you can keep playing as your fully-upgraded level 20 character AS WELL AS starting from level 0 again.

And when you reach 20 again, with a totally different character this time, you'll be able to do it again...

And again..

And again until you have 10 characters...

Then you can delete one and start again if you want to.

Brink > Prestige.

This post is exactly why -- I am in some twisted way happy that there are cheap, affordable, and accessible consoles for people to play games on. It keeps them out of the PC community, and that's all I really care about.

Also, this may be an honest attempt at trolling; in which case I say Bravo!

Not entirely true. And as you rightfully point out, the console community isn't exactly the "greener grass"

Side Note: I read yesterday in HORSES overview, it was 16 character loadouts. Has this now been reduced?

Can we really say that making another character is like going into prestige?

You got all weapons, clothing and attachments on the new one

Let's call it.. NEW GAME- ? Instead of NEW GAME+ where you keep your original character and advance further

Lets round up everything that is known from google, brink wiki, images, videos, and wbesite

-You can sell all your abilities at some points
-you can make 10 characters
- Each character can unlock diffrent abilities
-you cant unlock all abilities on 1 character,
-Max Level is 20
-There are challenges which unlock stuff like attachments
-Turn off the damn caps
-COD svcks (we all know its true onless its COD 4 and below)

The PC elitist attitude is just as bad if not worse than what you're talking about. I'm glad there aren't those people in our crummy little console community... and that's all i really care about.
