What is the max level you can reach on Skyrim? I was just curious.

As of patch 1.9? There is no upper limit.

The hard coded level cap is 65,535.

Currently 81... unless you're on PC and already have the 1.9 patch.
The newest patch will eliminate the level-cap, because you can roll-back skills to 15.

the level cap is an arbitrary number, before patch 1.9 max lvl was 81 which basically meant you leveled every skill to 100 foregoing all sense of roleplay and focused exclusively on grinding

legendary skills are a godsend, to hell with level caps, just skill up the skills you like and let the game worry about the rest
