Leveling with a Trainer

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:08 am

I have about 27 times I can level up(at level 1 now)
If I train a major skill 5 times, then level up,then train the same major skill 5 more times, will this count as another time I can level up and will skill point bonuses be added to that level ?

I think you are right, someone else should confirm though because I'm not 100% certain. ^_^

The skill points will be added to the next level after you snooze

This is one way to level your character well beyond the normal level 53 cap. Need a "drain skill" effect to take things to the max. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiGlfvy5yw0 boring YouTube video details how to do it.

Keep in mind it's pretty much pointless to level beyond the 30-35 range so you are doing it because you can and not for any advantages.

I will make it to level 30 with no problem and I know there is no real need to level past that...but I want to max out my skills with the level ups I have not used yet by using trainers, aswell as max out my attributes.I would like to know if the training of major skills 5 times, leveling up,then training again will count as 10 times towards another level up.I would rather max my skills out using this method,it would save me time and headaches.

Yes. For instance you see the level up indicator, then train Armorer (a minor skill) 5 times, sleep and level up, then train Armorer again 5 times. You now have 10 skill points toward an Endurance raise of +5 at your next level up. Obviously you can do this only every other level since you won't have training points until you level again. Of course you can also do this with a major skill and you'll level as soon as you spend the 5 points. So if you want three +5's you'll have to increase minor some minor skills first, then train.

You get 5 training points per level, but this way you can have 10 training points for one level, then none for the next, if you choose. It's not a free lunch.
