Levelling up every time I sleep...

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 2:15 am

This is early on in the game after receiving my first level up notice. Now the level up symbol won't go away.

I've got a bunch of mods installed so I'm not sure which one is causing this...

All Natural
FCOM (Fran + OOO + MMM only)
Better Cities
Living Economy
All Unofficial Patches
All Official Plug-ins inc Shivering Isles
Quest Award Leveller
Midas Spells
Guard Overhaul
Creeper Jones

Any suggestions?

Thanks guys.

Perhaps you are eligible to level up again? Once you get the notice to level up your skills still advance to where you may be eligible to level up again. So look at your level up progress bar and see if it is still full.

I am assuming you are using vanilla leveling? No other leveling mods?

Hi Peter. Yep it's staying full the whole time. I've slept over and over again and now I'm level 20! That obviously isn't right as I've only been playing for 30 minutes.

Yep, just realised I'm running Not Galsiah's Character Development mod which may have something to do with it. Or possibly the Race Balancing mod?

RBP does not deal with leveling so it must be Galsiah's Character Development. You can look at alternative leveling mods. Some of the more popular ones are:

Oblivion XP
Realistic Reveling
Progress

New ones to take a look at are Fundament.

Not Galsiah's Character Development = nGCD

In this mod, one does not need to sleep to level up. Maybe you are using a really old version or something? Suggest uninstalling nGCD (making sure you read any special instructions for uninstalling from the readme), and then reverting to an old save when you were lvl 1. Then reinstalling nGCD (after correctly tweaking the ini file that comes with it).
