Curious on those who live in Leyawiin and their opinion on beasts there.

Buffy is a Bosmer Bowgirl from Bravil, but she quite likes visiting Leyawiin. One of her best friends, Mazoga lives there and the Count made both of them knights. The Countess can be quite infuriating with her lack of tolerance however. Buffy is mystified why the Argonians and Khajiit in Leyawiin seem to dislike each other. Some of the things they say about each other are postively horrible. Have you ever talked with Dar-Jee? Ugh.

As far as the beast races, Buffy tries to be patiently neutral with Khajiit, despite the fact that many of them try to rob her as highwaymen along the roads (which aren't safe anymore, you see). Buffy tries to remind herself that after what she did to them at Border Watch, perhaps Khajitt have reason to not like her quite so much. She still feels guilty about that.

Argonians however are an entirely different matter. Buffy quite adores them, especially the women. Why the very best Mages Guild chapter head in all of Cyrodiil is Buffy's very own Kud-Ei. City Swimmer is a wonderful friend as well. Tar-Meena at the Arcane University is amazingly well read - after all, she does run the Mystic Archives there. The beautifully expressive eyes and curiously precise and flat enunciation of Argonian women are postitively mesmorizing. And even the boy lizards tend to be very friendly and helpful as well.

I love Leyawiin, and the beast races are the best imo.
Khajiit are truely blessed, and as for buffy you should be ashamed for doing Sheos biding. But in the words of the clan mothers bosmer are just Khajiit that were not bleesed by being made purrfect.
So she can't help it, but I too am suprised that the argonians and Khajiit are openly feuding, given its the Imperials that derserve a kick to the crotch while wearing a happy grin.

I don't live there, but I have a house there. And I do like the beasts.

Oh, I know. Buffy is not proud of doing that quest. What started out as a fun little joke turned rather cruel. It taught her to be quick to reject many future quests though, so she did learn a lesson. In fact, she will never consent to being Sheo's 'Champion'.

Yes, why the beasties don't cooperate against the Countess and her Imperials in Leyawiin is a mystery. Even when Buffy stripped away the Countess' pretentions (along with her clothes), it did not spur the beastfolk to unify and take action. Oh well. :)

Yay for beast races! After growing up in Leyawiin, Haa-Rei is good friends with many Khajiit and fellow Argoinians.

Acadian, Sheo's quest was harmless fun. If Buffy can use a black soul gem, she can scare some Khajiit.

Well I′m in conflict when it comes to beasts. I′m not fond of orcs and reptilians. Sorry, argonians :)
I do like cats however so when in Leyawiin I prefer Three Sister′s Inn. I like hanging around Leyawiin before heading up to Bruma for the winter.

I dont live there because I dont like the area around outside the city. Its always rainy and swamps everywhere, I prefer the lush rolling colorful hills near Skingrad. Beast races are okay, but I would never play as one, the tail that pokes through all the armor ruins it for me.

I like playing as a khajiit and they've become my new favorite race, I don't really like the Leyawiin area though seems more like argonian territory not well suited for a khajiit but I do visit occasionally and stay at the three sisters.

I have yet to stay an extended period of time in Leyawiin with either My Level 25 Imperial or 31 Dark elf.

However, my level 18 Khajiit, my 'active' save, has a lot of trouble with the local area. He is known as a high ranking member of the Renrija Krin and has an in-depth knowledge of the east part of blackwood, especially Leyawiin where he does most of his missions.

His speciallity is public assasinations, taking out his arrows and point blank knocking out the count. I've also jumped Caro's journey to her Moma, because my base is at fort nomore, the little room with a safe chest :P, because you have to jump to get there.

And I'm the only person in the game who can jump.

He believes that Black wood must be returned to Elsweyr and Black Marsh and he attacks guards and legionarries brutally.

My both constantly played characters are khajiits (modded race actually, that i think of as Ohmes-Raht khajiit), however their preferred home is Anvil. Leyawiin seems a bit too swampy, more suited for Argonians. Also it's quite rainy, you don't want to meet my assassin when she has wet fur :bolt: Of my characters the nicer Spellsword one remains neutral towards all races and judges people how hey are, not what they are. My more morally ambiguous assassin doesn't too much like her own people due to her rough childhood, Argonians she is quite unsure about; "To greet you, or eat you?"

Khajiit are the only race i play now, they and their culture seem most interesting of TES races, hopefully there'll be an official take on Elsweyr sometime.

As an off-topic confession, i have not downloaded, installed or played the Elsweyr mod

Vanilla-game only, I hate Argonians. Slippery, slimy, fishy beasts - the other day I found a whole cave of them running around naked. Very confronting.

Khajiit on the other hand are warm, furry and have a cool tail.

That said I still prefer man races.

I usually play as a breton. He doesn't mind the argonians and thinks there wonderful too listen too also. He has never had any problem with Khajiit(cept the occasional highwayman) but what he finds odd is how the Khajiit speak to themselves as 'this one.'

He tries to stay clear of Khajiit, he doesn' like to look in their catlike eyes that could inspire fear with a single look.
He finds these man-beasts have something to hide.

I've wondered that too. Maybe it's like the hanar in Mass Effect, they refer to them selves as 'this one' to strangers, and say 'i' only to trusted, close friends.

Or perhaps the heat of their sandy, hot homeland got to their head :P
