I think I may have come on to something here... In The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, there was a giant brass golem called Numidum, and again a recreation of it TES3: Morrowind, the Akulakhan.

Now in FO3, another gamesas game, we have another giant stompy robot... Liberty Prime.

Bethseda has a giant robot obsession yes, but can you really compare a giant stompy god robot to a giant stompy nuke throwing robot?
