License

Post » Mon Dec 20, 2010 1:59 am

Okay, just wondering because where I live you can get it when you are 16. I'm 18 1/2 and am just about to get it haha. I took the permit test when I was 17 Oh my gosh it was cake. I'm terrified for the actuall driving portion though

I got it when I was 10. Been driving a Ferrari all my life

I hate to let you know, but most states don't let you get your license till you're sixteen. I have yet to hear of a place where you can get it at 10-12

What happened to the 25+ option? Also the lowest legal driving age is (I believe) 14.

I got my licence at 16. i failed the written test two times to get my permit... I do not like written tests.. waste of time in my opinion. Don't worry about the driving part. it is really easy. Just be extra granny slow careful. Don't do anything fast. thats how I passed.

I got mine last month, and I am 17. I passed the permit questions on my first attempt, but I failed the actual exam twice before passing it. Damn parallel parking.

those either. you have to be the same age. either 16 or 18. I for one have never driven one, but you have to be 16 or 18..

I got my permit at 15 (Which I am still), but I can't try for a license until September when I'm 16.

haha I wouldn't say that. You just didn't know. It all really depends on what state says what about getting a license. I am pretty sure if you were interested in it more, you could go and look all the age requirements up online.

I got it at 16. This was state pre-budget cuts and my high school still had driver's training. I passed the written but failed the driving test. Something was wrong with the brakes (grabbed every time I touched the pedal). Came back in our other car and passed it no problem.

That summer my parents bought a new Toyota Celica (bright screaming yellow) and handed me the keys. I was happy. :) Drove it to high school every day and boy were my friends envious. :woot: Ah, the good old days.

I take my test in 16 days, from what I've heard it isn't that hard, at least where I live that is :P

I got mine at 18. I had been putting it off for about a year and a half beforehand though.

Ahh I'm loving the great numbers of Floridians on here. Ya I agree, if you failed the written test here you'd have to have never seen a car in your life.

I know right! Even on the permit test it was easy, I studied for what 5 minutes and skimmed through the Drug and Alcohol stuff, and I only missed 6 out of 80 questions in total.

We have 50 and you have to do this thing where you watch videos and have to click when you see something dangerous. Then there's the 40 minute practical exam....

Hey, I actually joined this forum the same day I passed the theory exam.

Got mine when I was 20(late bloomer...).

Passed the first time.

I was just glad that I didn't run a stop sign like my mom did on her first test.
