So i just completed the quest "Morgiah's Wedding" and the uesp says that The king of worms is going to send a Zombie after me. the thing is that i cant handle fighting a zombie yet(ran through the barrow without fighting anything the first time). can anyone tell me where i can get a magic/silver longsword easily?

The best way to get a beefed-up weapon is to level yourself, then find it in a treasure pile or an equipment shop. The niceness of your finds in both cases is mostly tied to your level.

Consider obtaining a magical item that will do ranged magic damage. You should be able to do that no matter what your level.

BTW, silver will not help you vs. a zombie to the best of my knowledge.

Edit: Also, there's a spell effect called Create Item; eventually you'll get an item you can really use. But you probably won't be able to do that at lower levels.

Consider joining the Mages guild. You'll need 1 magic school skill to be 22 or more. Ask for quests (and say no) until you get the one to guard so-and-so for the next 3 hours. When finished (you'll have to fight 3 easy opponents) you'll get a magic item as a reward which is sometimes a magic weapon and sometimes a nice magic item with a ranged attack. Doing this quest a number of times can load you up with enough magic items to last quite a while. (Save often and reload as necessary).

In the city of Daggerfall at the north center of the merchant's circle there is a store called the Odd Blades that has great quality weapons. Keep checking in there to find better weapons.

There is a weapon shop in Sentinel where everything turns daedric at the stroke of midnight. Grab a weapon from there.

Or start the game with an ebony dagger like everybody else
