Life and Creativity of a Great Artist

Here's an article about Adam Adamowicz, who was a concept artist on Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim and Fallout 4. Sadly, Adam passed away on Feb 9, 2012, not long after the release of Skyrim.

Very compelling read, and it's written by Jonah Lobe, a former Bethesda employee who worked with Adam.

EDIT: you can see more of his work in https://bethesda.net/#en/events/game/the-art-of-fallout-4/2015/10/28/41 and on Flickr:

Adam is by far one of my most respected people in the industry. He must have had one of the most fulfilling jobs in the world. Sketching all of these things in his art, and then seeing them come to life in a fully formed game over many years of work.

Bethesda lost a great man when he passed, and I hope that whoever replaced him has that same feeling of fulfillment that I think Adam must have had.
