Wait are you guys saying that the multiplayer will be limited to people playing 16 player matches in the campaign? Surely there will be Team A vs Team B and Capture the Flag matches in addition to playing the multiplayer campaign mode right? That'd be a bad sign if it wasn't the case.

i don think that is true brink is not like any other game you havent even played it yet stop reffering brink to games like,halo,cod,bf2,borderlands, and others

I thought REVOLUZZER went to PAX East and played Brink, if so, then he can makes references to other games freely as he has actually played the game

I did play it at Gamescom, which had essentially the same demo.

It looks just like Quake Wars to me, except it has a different skin, customization, and a cool movement system.

That is probably the more accurate comparison, as Quake Wars is Splash Damages version of Battlefield.

In fact, aside from what I've mentioned, it's more or less the same game...

Although it bears similarity to QW, I'd say it resembles more their first game W:ET.
Mainly because QW had vehicles, huge maps and asymmetrical teams, which are all things W:ET and Brink don't have.
Mostly the features that Brink and QW have in common, are features that were already in W:ET.
Mainly just some class skills, like turrets, and ADS were only in QW.

First impressions are everything. A rewarding and robust multiplayer experience can hook people pretty strongly.

With all dedication and risk-taking SD is doing, I have more faith than doubt.

Everyone knows Brink will be an awesome game that will have a good ol' long life span, and when its about to die, a medic(Splash Damage) will throw Brink a revive syringe( DLC )
and it will be played and played until something more awesome ( Hopefully something similar to brink. [or another fallout <3]) comes out.

Yeh, this will be a good game. If not i will give someone all my turtles.
:turtle: and i have plenty!

Campaign mode, freeplay mode and challenges.
Difference between campaign and freeplay is that in freeplay you don't play the maps in order, and you don't have to stick to the same side. A mod will probably make it possible to play games with more than 16 players on PC. Tbh, for public play, 8v8 will do just fine. 12-16 people on W:ET were always the most fun games for me.

No CTF games, but certain objectives are CTF based.

With the different body types, classes and different skills to obtain plus the customization, I think this game would last me awhile as an offline single-player game. If it's anything like Halo: Reach, then it would take me many, many months, since I do not have much time to play games, so the game-time would be dragged out/extended for me immensely. ^_^

I avoid online, so DLC's are out of the question. (Sometimes I wait for the GOTY edition for some games because of this.)

I play about once or twice or, at most, three times a week (on weekends only which may including Friday) and only for a couple of hours, so obviously this could be why I almost never finish games and play them for several years, lol! :D

Too bad there's no offline co-op, though. I would have loved to play with both of my sisters and occasional cousins that come to visit. :(

For me, I like to replay maps and play co-op offline with my sister, and I still haven't played it too much in awhile (and still haven't finished it) and I usually play an hour or 30 minutes on each game and then move back and forth between other games, soooo yeah. And remember, I only play like once a week (one day a week) for a couple of hours.

These are reasons why it takes me forever to finish many games, let alone one game, especially if it's open-world or has lots of classes or choices and customizations to choose from. (Borderlands, Infamous, Bayonetta, Sims 2/3, and Mass Effect 1+2 got me soooo addicted that I end up playing and re-playing those the most.)

Forgot to post that Assassins Creed Brotherhood multiplayer was new and amazing (lvl 45 out of 50) so I still play it and it came out in November......if Brink brings something new to the table it'll be a long life.....

Oh the multiplayer is great, but I got bored with it when I hit 49. I'm still willing to play with anyone though, so much more fun to play with another person.
