Life is Strange (May Contain Spoilers)

First let me mention I swore there used to be a dedicated thread to this already, but search results for "Life is Strange" turned up a short one page list of irrelevant threads.

So now all 5 episodes have been released and the epic conclusion(s) of Max & Chloe is here. What are your thoughts on it? How did you feel about the endings? Let's start a general discussion for this now completely released game.

I'd like to sum up my thoughts about each episode in a few possibly not word-for-word quotes.

Episode 1: "Go [censored] your selfie." - Victoria

Episode 2: "Hella" - Chloe

Episode 3: "I WAS EATING THOSE BEANS!" - Frank

Episode 4: "I'm hella pissed off." -Chloe

Episode 5: "Do not beg! NEVER BEG!" -

Weird as [censored] finale. I was very surprised to see that the final choice was split half and half. I cannot see doing anything other than

sacrificing Chloe. How can you let pretty much everyone else die for one relationship? I care too much about Kate, Victoria, Joyce, David, and just people in general to say "[censored] you all, I'm in love with this girl k bye seeya in hell."

Anyway, very fun series. Victoria. <3

I didn't read your posts for fear of spoilers, but I've heard the story is amazing and that the finale was crazy. Definitely on my list of games to play though.

I love a great story.

Personally I'm dissapointed with the conclusion of Life is Strange, and I largely predicted the concluding events before they transpired (and I'm by no means prescient).
I absolutely loved episodes 1 - 4, and some of the plot moments in them are among the best I've experienced in any game (specifically the conclusion of Episodes 2 and 3), but Episode 5 is so inelegant in it's attempt to reconcile a gallimaufry of narrative threads; Life is Strange literally buckles under a storm of plot elements.

I loved the journey but the final destination was better in fantasy than it was in reality.I'm glad games like this can be auspicious and popular among the behemoths, and Life is Strange deals with so many poignant and pensive themes elegantly up until its final moments; but the ending is painfully sloppy and games of this nature can't really afford such falterings.
