It's impossible to enter the lift @ lucky 38. Victor is not reacting..... What can i do???????

I had this problem as well on pc. I solved it, i think, by talking to one of my companion's (boone, ed-e etc.) and after that talk to victor again.

Some1 else suggested this as well for 360:

If you have a companion, bring them into the casino (do not talk to Victor outside the casino or he will tell you to leave your companion outside), then click on Victor. When he does not respond, click on your companion to bring up the command wheel.? Click on 'Companion Commands' and scroll down to the bottom, choose 'Goodbye'. Now Victor should pipe up and you should have use of the elevator. (This works on 360)

Thanks, but i have send my partner to the lucky 38 (because Boone was killing Legionars, wasn't good for reputation....) and there are no others to collect (already got the trophy, PS3). I dont have a save game before this!!!!!! Arghhhh.....(little frustation)

and dissmissing them with the terminal next to the lift isn't working!!!!
