I'm still considering if I want to be Light or Medium. Since we can make 16 characters, I'll probably end up with 6 Lights, 5 mediums, and 5 Heavies at one point but as for my starter... Not sure. I really think that the Lights and Heavies are geared towards more advanced players, but the Light build is really all about how I play games. I'm not really an "In yo face" player and I like sneaking around places, but it seems like Medium would be good to start with to get use to the game.

I wouldn't say Lights and Heavies are geared towards more advanced players. Every build has its advantages while sacrificing other skills.

A new player wouldn't be able to really make use of their advantages nearly as well as an experienced player. The same could be said for the Mediums, but both the Lights and the Heavies have a bit more things to worry about, and have to use more precise skills to be effectively used.
I'm not saying that Lights and Heavies are for Mega-Pros only, just that they require a bit more knowledge of the game to really be used.
